Their happy hour runs from 2-5pm and includes cocktails, glasses of wine and wine flights. We indulged in a self-selected wine tasting (five, 2 ounce pours) and were so impressed that we ended up leaving with 3 bottles (2022 Rose, Stoneboat "Piano" brut, and Rosé Frizzante 2022). Colby, our connoisseur (and new BFF), was very knowledgeable and accommodating in answering our questions and offering suggestions. We will definitely be back for more wine! I don't usually like strawberry flavoured drinks, but this was subtle and not too sweet. I'd get this again. Citron/Green Grape Makgeolli (all 1L/$13) - I prefer the tartness of the citron and green grape makegeolli. Slightly favour the citron more, as it's even more tart. Both are a great choice though. I've also had the Byeol Bam soju (unflavoured) which was the smoothest soju I've ever had. Dangerously good, as you end up drinking more than you think. Needless to say, there was no tents anywhere. The staff cooking burgers were doing it in the rain without cover. So we ate soggy burgers in the rain. I have lost trust in a company that is dishonest.To people calling asking for information and told a lie so they do not have to reimburse tickets. Not cool. We had purchased a wine passport earlier in the day, which we had used at two previous wineries without issue. When we requested an outdoor table, our request was declined as not available to persons using the Wine passport!! and when we left, spots on the patio were still open. Instead, we were seated in a corner with only four chairs, and our designated driver was not offered a seat or a glass of water. This oversight made us feel uncomfortable and excluded our friend from the experience, thanks Austin!! I requested an additional chair, and a high stool was eventually brought, but it was much taller than the other seats and seemed thoughtless, especially since there were unused chairs available nearby. Throughout our visit, the server made no eye contact and appeared disengaged. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere during our wine tasting. Despite purchasing the wine passport and tipping generously at the previous wineries, we did not feel welcomed at this establishment and left as soon as possible. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that fell short of our expectations. A 7 out of 10 decor was a beautiful, unique establishment, a 10 out of 10 if we had a person serving who wanted to be there. Over priced garbage, if you want a blueberry I suggest you hit blue heron which is in maple ridge for $15 a bottle instead of $30 for the same level of wine. Go to Krauss if you want much better fruit wine for slightly less. Order from your fruit wine from northern lights in Prince George if you want your mind blown. Made my own wine just for fun…read more I brought a bottle of my favorite wine for a sample. Mark (owner/operator) gave me a few suggestions of wine kits that would produce a reasonable facsimile. Mark was willing to do most of the work, but I insisted on being fully hands-on. So, I came in periodically according to a predetermined schedule to mix ingredients, transfer fluids, and eventually bottle and cork my finished wine. Mark also allowed me to add syrup to sweeten the wine to suit my palate. If you prefer to put in minimal effort, Mark is willing to do the heavy lifting. All in, it worked out to about $5 a bottle for a nice Shiraz. Had I brought my own bottles, the price would have been even less. But, since this was my first time, I had to buy the bottles. I've enjoyed the wine immensely, and it has gotten better tasting as it aged. I will definitely come back at some point once I finish drinking my 30 bottles of wine. Mark was super patient with me. I learned so much from him. It was fun, and I enjoyed the experience even more than the wine itself.
