Echoing all the negative comments. Be warned of this pool contractor - we hired them in 2007 to build our pool and the construction-related problems have continued. Over $15K paid (to a contractor who knew what they were doing) to fix initial construction problems that were never properly addressed. Too many problems to list. Too many excuses. Blue Haven Pools of Lebanon Indiana built a community swimming pool for The Village of Turner Trace in Avon, Indiana. The owner of Blue Haven Pools Mike R is terrible to deal with he has cost me thousands of dollars by not getting this community pool finished like he should. He dose not know the first thing about customer service!! I would highly not recommend this company to anyone thinking about building a pool. And they way they have there contact written they are guaranteed to get there money in full and the customer is left trying to get Mike to return your calls and get the job done witch he to this day did not get everything done so we could open this pool! We signed the contract with Blue Haven Lebanon, IN in January 2020, after the sales representative told us the pool and deck would be finished and usable in July 2021.  We have made all payments when due and on time. By September we had an unfinished pool and no deck.  Weeks had passed (with little rain or bad weather) with no one coming out to do any work and we have been consistently mislead and lied to every time we have asked about dates of scheduled work. Communication has been very poor with Blue Haven. Tom, our project manager, has not kept in contact with us, does not have a working voice-mail, and has rarely answered or replied to calls or texts. Our side yard was full of construction trash that was sitting there for weeks, and our unfinished pool was a mosquito breading ground full of muddy water and trash for months. Finally Scott showed up and did some work and told us he was going to stay and finish that week for inspection, but that was not true, because as usual, the story changed to the following week, and then the week after that.  The pool was finally "finished" by December 2021, but not completely because the lights do not work and never have, and there are other issues that have not been handled even after months of calling and complaining.  We keep getting put off with no date given to fix the remaining problems.  Just bieng told they are trying to get us on the schedule. The pool has been paid for in full.  Working with Blue Haven has been a terible experience and I would not recommend hiring this contractor. read more

Less than. Site Supervisor (Tom) is a liability to this business. Rarely on site. When he is, no communication & job is left in a general state of disarray. Either incompetent or too arrogant to do a thorough job - did not thoroughly inspect progress, clean up trash, or effectively communicate with home owner throughout the 90 process. Came & went onto property like he was the home owner - no respect. Might not be so bad except when strangers (sub-contractors) show up in the back yard when our young daughter and dog are playing! The owner himself provided our "pool school" nearly a month after equipment had been running. Owner had to personally connect equipment b/c site supervisor failed to complete the tasks. The owner did not inspect all equipment, so to top it off, we FAILED CITY INSPECTION due to SAFETY DISCREPANCIES! Definitely did not meet standards for the price paid & time spent. read more
