As a regular customer of Blue Ginger I have nothing but excellent words for this Chinese takeaway. It is Fantastic and I do not know where to start to tell you how good their food is. Firstly let me say that they do deliver and they are quick and the food is piping hot when it arrives. Their menu is crammed full of food that is different to every other Chinese takeaway around. Their presentation is brilliant and different as they come in cardboard boxes like they have in America, it's great! The meal I would recommend to you is the Chicken Chow Mein, a popular favourite of mine and freshly made. You can tell the difference here that the meat is fresh and so are the vegetables and noddles. If you do order in the shop, you will notice how clean and tidy it is as well as being technologically advance. They have a computer system which they use to take your order and if you have ordered before, there is no need to worry about giving your details over and over, as they save them in their databases! They have started to serve Thai food which is also exceptional and if you want some alcohol to compliment your food then they deliver that too in a little smart car. Good quality Chinese food, not too greasy. A little more expensive than other local takeaways, but worth it.

This used to be a really great takeaway USED TO BE! The last two times I have tried here - the order has been WRONG, and the food I have had has been overpriced for cheap, substandard food - really poor quality chicken! Paid £15.+ for a takeaway tonight....about £13 has gone in the bin!!! Absolutely awful - don't bother! The sooner it closes down the better :-))) read more

Used before and was happy with the food as you tend to get what you pay for. However today the soup they delivered was the wrong one. They tried to say it was my fault (not possible it was a clear online order). After an hour of waiting the food delivered was just about warm and incorrect. 1 1/2 hour after ordering I am still waiting for my starter. Not good enough for the prices they charge. read more

ive just made the huge mistake of ordering food from BLUE GINGER of market street Stalybridge, i had the singapore special fried rice, which is without doubt the worst food i have ever eaten, it was an overpowering taste of turmeric powder and nothing else!! after trying to eat as much of this overpriced muck as i could stomach i had to give in and bin two thirds of it..i also ordered the salt and pepper spare bone and miniscule amounts of "meat"..my wife had the egg fu yuk!! again after two mouthfuls of this slop it too went in the bin..avoid this appalling place like the plague!!!! read more
