The restaurant is situated right next to the Huddersfield Canal and is beautifully placed. The building is modern and inviting and the inside is large and spacious whilst carrying on with the modern theme. What attracts me the most to this restaurant apart from the food, is the space. Parents have no need to worry about their children banging into others as there is plenty of room. The atmosphere is calm and inviting despite always being very busy. What is even better in my opinion is the takeaway service which has a 10% discount and if your order is over £40.00 then you get a free bottle of wine. No complaints there then! Aside from the restaurant they have an upstairs for functions such as birthdays etc. I personally have been to many birthdays there and I have not yet been disappointed as the room is large and spacious and the buffet food is lovely especially the Dim Sum Platters! I suggest strongly no matter if you live far away or nearby, you should try this restaurant as you will not be displeased. And if you go when its your birthday, be prepared for a big celebration!

This restaurant is incredible and I'm SO glad to have lived nearby for so much of my life. It's our…read morefamilies 'go to' Chinese takeaway (I'm really sorry Mrs Lee at Davenham's Sun Ho - I love your special fried rice - please forgive me). It's small, family owned and consistent. Consistently brilliant. Our usual order is as follows: (feeds 3 adults and one bottomless-pit Brother) - Sweet and Sour Chicken; it's honestly the best I've had anywhere. Ever - Char Sui Roast Pork; again, amazing - Soft noodles; with bean sprouts and onion - 2 Egg Fried Rice or 1 Chicken/other meat Fried Rice; Tasty, non-greasy - Prawn Crackers - and one other main dish that we choose at random The family/staff who work here are friendly and super organised; when you arrive for collection (they don't deliver) the orders are spread in a fan over a silver tray - they know exactly which docket to choose from the delicately arranged pile, they pop into the kitchen and out with a bag of take-out-container filled joy. You can also opt to eat in. The restaurant is fairly small but the service is exceptional and the food is wonderful regardless of where you eat it. Car parking can be a little tricky at busy times. It's just off the main road with the car spaces in front. It's tight squeeze to manoeuvre if you're wedged in nearest the house. Also, watch out for the sneaky traffic light camera as you approach. But hey, even if you do get flashed on your way to mouthfuls of heaven - you're the real winner here.

Like all the other reviews I cannot praise this place highly enough…read more A tasty, tidy, friendly & reasonably priced restaurant, that never fails to impress in its quality of food. When you compare it to 90% of its competitors it wins hands down every time! actually make that 98%!! We even tried somewhere else nearby when they were shut and all we can say is, we swore never again!

They have anything from salt and pepper wings to bowls to wraps! I love the fact that there are a number of protein options and they have vegan options as well. This is a pretty chill spot where you can go to grab a bite for lunch or for dinner right after work. It's definitely a well liked spot as soon after we arrived it got rather busy. We all chose the bowls, and you can get it with either rice, fries, lettuce, or half/half. I'll tell you it's beyond filling and for a reasonable price too! I got the sticky chicken with half salt & pepper fries and half rice. Other things we ordered were the salt & pepper prawns and the beef. That beef was seasoned just right! On top of that they have a number of different sauces you can add. The sweet and sour sauce took it to another level and was my favorite followed by the garlic herb mayo. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and if you ever find your way in MCR, ‍to Salt & Pepper because you won't be disappointed!
