I think the problem with places like this is consistency of the masseuse. I have had a lash lift probably over a dozen times. This was somethin else. I got a gift card to…read morethis place which is what brought me in. They would not take an apt without my credit card number in their computer, despite the fact that I was paying with a gift card. Offered to give them that number but they would not make the apt without having my credit card number in hand. So back to the lash lift. Yikes. Never once was glue of any kind put onto my eyelids for a lash lift and tint. The procedure began with the provider placing glue strips/tabs all over my eye lids. She did not use a fan to dry down any of the solutions/serums until my eye started burning. In every other lash lift I've had, a fan is alway used to dry down the liquids. At the end of the apt, a tweezer was used to pry the glue strips off my eyelids. When she plucked my eyelid skin, she stopped trying to get anymore glue off. When I left, there was still glue adhered to my eyelids, they were dry and stiff and I could barely blink comfortably which lead me to scraping it off myself. My eyelids are red, swollen and shredded and my eyelashes are stiff. This is unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Would never come back or recommend this place to anyone, even if you have a gift card. Regift it. Or just don't get a lash lift. They should take lash lift off the service menu.

I stopped into Therapeutic Massage today after driving by (as well as seeing on Facebook) an…read moreadvertised 10 minute chair massage for $10. I believe this is only offered on Thursdays from 11am-2pm. Jamie was my massage therapist. She was great. They welcome walk-ins too. I will say though (and this is the reasoning for my 4 stars instead of 5) that I felt a little awkward walking in and the massage chair is set up in the lobby a few feet away from the desk/cashier area. When I walked in, there was a gentleman currently getting a massage and I immediately felt a little awkward walking in essentially on it. I excused myself to go to the bathroom, just to give this guy a bit more peace and privacy even though his massage was nearing its end. I received my massage and it was really nice, but about 5 minutes into the 10 minutes, a new customer walks in and takes a seat a few feet away from me getting my massage. All I could think about the last half of the massage was that I felt like she was just watching me the whole time. I did notice when I had gone to the bathroom that there are a bunch of private rooms for table massages and that none were being used. Why not have the chair in there? I inquired prior to leaving if they had a menu to show all of the services they offer, which they do not. You kind of need to go on their website or Facebook page before you book, unless you come in for this Thursday special like I did today. I couldn't tell from their website if couples massage was offered, maybe that's the reasoning for the two price differences with each massage, but I'm not sure. I'd like to be back..
