I was unable to visit the property and my inspection was very important. This company had good reviews so I chose it. I didn't expect any surprises. I was told it was a livable fixer. The report came back as failed roof, failed foundation, failed plumbing, failed electrical and possible black mold. Owner didn't agree and sent his own inspector and the owners inspector stated the same - failed inspection The owner offered to reduce cost and sell as is but it was too much work with 3 kids (it would have been a great fixer flip investment - maybe as much to fix as it cost). It's been almost a year since moving into our home ( a little over a year since purchasing it) and…read morealthough I find this slightly silly that I am writing a review so late, we need some closure as a family of the mistake we made closing on this property. Between our builder (Rocket House Buyers) who clearly cheaped out on every aspect of this home and hid certain issues from us and this inspection company who didn't catch numerous faulty construction issues that have and still are costing us a fortune. The main house of the home was renovated while the back house was brand new. We were told Hedderman was the best by our real estate agent so we went with them. This is also our first home. Since then: We have had to have a leak fixed and mold remediation due to them not noticing a hose unattached from another hose in our attic We have had an HVAC system completely wired wrong causing thermostats to blow ALL of our windows and doors have been installed incorrectly leading to bad insulation and major leaks from rain. We are STILL trying to fix this but the cost is too high. Glass is not up to code on certain windows Sloping throughout the entire house is wrong. We have had to have cement demolished and repoured. Major cracks within the home and foundation are forming. Cabinets are falling out There was no drainage on the property. We had to put this in. The ENTIRE house was unsealed (not caulked) The list goes on, and some I have figured would not be caught by inspection but for the most part the inspection was an absolute mistake. We reached out and demanded another inspection, someone came by to simply discuss and have us show him the issues but it was not another inspection. We were told when he came back from travel we could talk and nothing came about it. I would think we could at least get the cost back for what we paid for the inspection but no offer. We found all of these things out either by seeing and managing the damage or by the copious amounts of professionals we have had over to give us answers. Hard to trust any business since.

We were moving from out of state and relied heavily on the inspection to be done well and…read moreaccurately. So many things were overlooked, including a broken AC unit and a rotten deck that they didnt even lift up rug to exam. Electical was also overlooked. Ended up costing us 30K in repairs.
