The food…read morewas great, and most of the servers were friendly (though some were very much less so), but the buffet was put out 30 minutes late. When I spoke to the manager the next day, we agreed to a partial refund. I reached out a few times over the following week to ask what the amount would be so I could report to my supervisor, and they kept dodging the question. I finally called and asked them to answer my question, and the manager started yelling at me asking, "What exactly do you want from me?!" I asked him not to yell, and his response was, "I'm not yelling, but I can!" Things went back and forth like this for a few minutes, and I told him I couldn't believe he was speaking so disrespectfully to a client, so I asked for this supervisors contact information. He informed me he was the owner of the company. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY thought it was okay to yell at a client over the phone. I've worked in food service for a long time, and there have been plenty of clients I've wanted to yell at, but actually doing it is another issue altogether. Needless to say, I'm going to do my best to never work with Prestige Catering again. There food was great, their service at the event was good for the most part, but if this is how their management behaves toward clients, I'd rather go with a different caterer.
