Just had the most AMAZING time at Blue Dragon. We stumbled upon this place while exploring HMB and Sandy came to talk to us. She was so welcoming and warm that we had to drop in. We ordered Vietnamese iced coffees and Tiger Coffee (Vietnamese iced tea + coffee). The flavor was great, the basil leaf is a nice aromatic touch, and the homemade coconut creamer makes this a perfect treat for a warm day. We were invited to try the spring roll bowl and wow - it's a great deconstructed roll. The flavors were bright and fresh. Come by on a nice day and enjoy the quiet patio. Found this little gem in half moon bay. Everyone is so friendly when you order your food. We got the spring roll salad, chicken broth pho, and two drinks. Everything was so flavorful and tasty. First off the salad has the great veggies, crisp peanuts, and that sauce is like crack for your salad. When you mix it all with the noodles, it tasted like heaven. The pho was the best i have ever had. So much flavor, and i love that it's all gluten free. The lemongrass hibiscus, and Thai ice tea with coconut milk were perfection. The owner Sandy was there with her beautiful smiling face to tell me about the ingredients and showed us the fabulous art. I loved the little area you can eat in too. Walking up, we were coming closer to their EOD, like 40 minutes before they closed. not only was the staff and owner energetic and timely, they were extremely kind and personable. Food is good, broth and chicken in the pho was delicious. Kind of skimpy on basil, sprouts and no decent spice for soup and no lime, also no bag for my food. I also had to wait half hour for my food because chef was not there. I had heard from a friend that she also had to wait approximately 20 minutes for her pho, not sure why there is such a long wait.
