I always get rye toast with lettuce and tomato and the tomatoes are always so ripe! Quick and friendly service- it's a great spot for a grab and go lunch on the run.

Honestly, I was really looking forward to this place. I'm majorly disappointed. I got 5 items,…read morewanted to try a little bit of everything. The fish sandwich, the actual fish was delish but it was SOAKED in tartar sauce. Sandwich fell apart. Cheese is a weird thing to put on a fish sandwich, and it just didn't work. Cheese was cold and not even melted. Honestly this whole sandwich was gross. Just get a plain filet as that's the only good thing about the sandwich. The cream of crab soup was wayyyy too thick and rich. The actual crab pieces in it were delicious. The soup part was too thick, it was almost like goop consistency. Not much flavor to the actual soup. The mac shrimp salad was gross, I only had about two bites before I threw the rest away. My coworker recommended getting this, I'm not a big fan of these type of salads overall, so I'm sure that impacts my review of it. I spent about $3 on a single crab deviled egg. It was good, but a weird combo. You either tasted one or the other, but not both at the same time. The clam strips were the best part about this meal. It was $4 for a big cup full of clam strips, and there was even more strips at the bottom of the bag. The clam strips were cooked perfectly and not too chewy, and had decent size pieces. Overall, I was extremely disappointed. I WILL try this place again and get something else though. I think their actual crabs would be great, but their other food items were not my favorite. The soup was very bad, wayyyy too thick and rich and bland. The sandwich filet was actually delicious, unfortunately the excess tartar sauce and the gross cheese ruined it for me. And the salad was just not my favorite at all, but I'm sure salad lovers would like it. It was about $30 for all of this food, and most of it got thrown away.

The only place I've found locally where you can purchase Blue Crab meat from either the Chesapeak Bay or Louisiana. On both occasions we enjoyed fresh steamed Crabs. They were cooked perfectly with an exceptional store mixed Old Bay based seasoning. We've enjoyed their steamed shrimp which are wild caught and steamed perfectly. Their seafood bisque and the special shrimp and corn chowder is amazing. Rich, creamy, perfectly prepared chowder with just the right blend of old bay, seafood and vegetables. I've had their steamed Little Neck Clams in a white wine and garlic sauce. Delicious and served with toasted, crusty garlic bread. I have not tried their homemade Key lime pie.....yet. I plan to soon. Looking forward to trying their soft-shell crab sandwich. Mr Bills is located near Franklin and Marshall College along Harrisburg Ave. Seating is a bit limited, but there is seating inside and out. The cafe and seafood shop are house in the same space. Don't expect opulent atmosphere, but when the seafood is that good and fresh, you don't need "opulence". They have daily specials and sandwiches along with their fresh seafood. The staff is helpful, knowledgable and able to answer questions and make recommendations. I can't recommend Mr Bills more highly. Looking forward to our next visit with friends.

We made it in time to Faidley's Seafood at the Lexington Market before it closed at 5:30pm!…read more The two of us split the lump crab cake platter (market price $31.95 August 2025), the backfin crab cake platter (market price $21.95), and Maryland crab soup $6.50), with the selected sides: cucumber salad, potato salad, Cole slaw, and macaroni and cheese. The crab cakes were accompanied by a handful of greens, and heaping portions of the sides. The soup came with a handful of wrapped crackers - more than we knew what to do with! I preferred the lump crab cake, the sides were all good with the crisp cucumber salad and Cole slaw being pleasantly refreshing. The potato salad was the creamy sort. The shreds of crab was visibly evident in the veggie filled minestrone type soup, but not as evident in taste. It is always tough to get your fix of veggies on vacation, so I'd probably get the lump crab cake with cucumber salad and Cole slaw on another visit, or try one of their seasonal items.
