In May 2023, I purchased a brand-new Class A motorhome from them, dealing primarily with Tammy Brannon for financing. She shamelessly pushed me to buy an extended warranty for an additional five years, claiming that it would cover everything once the manufacturer's warranty expired. I was duped into paying around $20,000 for this so-called "extended coverage." Since then, I have had to pay out of pocket more than $5,000 for repairs that should have been covered under the warranty. They have outright refused to pay for essential repairs such as to the washer, heating system, and antifreeze hose--denying claims with blatant lies. This company is nothing but a scam artist operation, making false promises to extract money and then abandoning their customers once they have it. The dealership is completely untrustworthy, unprofessional, and unscrupulous. They will say anything to get your money and then completely ignore you once they have it. Avoid this dealer at all costs--they are con artists and frauds who care only about ripping you off. Do not let them take advantage of you as they did me.

Work was extremely overpriced and unprofessional with tape that was drooping on my heat shielding on my exhaust pipe at pick up and hanging wires I had to secure myself. Within a couple of days of picking it up, I had various electrical lights flashing I had never seen before. I called Carpenter's who offered to install MORE issues for more money. I brought it to the dealership who offered extremely pricey diagnostics and repairs worth more than what the vehicle was worth that would have just "undone Carpenter's damage". Contacted Carpenter's Campers management on this issue, they stone walled me and would not compromise for their damages without proof from dealership. All this with less than a week before my move across the country. I tried to contact a lawyer on short notice but ended up selling my previously perfectly drivable vehicle, with overpriced, DAMAGING work from Carpenter's Campers because I had to move, and I could not move this car safely cross country. We have a 2003 Class C Fleetwood Jamboree and were towing a CRV. We were hooking up the tow and had major problems with the connection. We went inside to the service department and Caroline met up to assist us. At first we thought it was the 7 to 5 connector but after further discussion were unsure. She offered to come outside and test the power coming from the rig. Long story short it was decided to take the rig back and do a diagnostic test to confirm exactly what was going on. Big shout out to all the folks that helped: Brian, Shannon, Wes, Dave, Ron, Caroline, and the awesome service tech's who completed the work Scott and Todd - you guys ROCK!!!!! The issue was resolved and repaired in record time!! Pricing was VERY reasonable and these 2 retired Army Vets want to say THANK You! My travel trailer lost a wheel on I-65 about 3 miles from the Hwy. 59 exit. After sitting along the interstate for 4 hours, and several attempts to find a towing service we were finally able to get it towed to the Camping World in Robertsdale AL by 6:00 pm on a Monday. Tuesday morning we went in to see if they would be able to fix it and how long it would take. That's when we met Mariah! She took a few notes, inspected the damage and immediately got 2 service technicians out to look at it as well. Mariah said to give her time to call around to see if they could get parts, and she would stay in touch. I got several calls with updates through the morning and by early afternoon she called with an estimate for cost and timing. By 3:00 the trailer was repaired and we were back in the road to our destination. We anticipated it would take several days and drain our budget. Mariah got us back on the road in 6 hours (from when they opened on Tuesday morning.) and the cost was reasonable as well. She deserves a raise!
