They found us perfect seats, tended to us all night long, and were just generally lovely people all around. The venue is so perfect for enjoying a fabulous night of music. My boy Thaddeus Tukes has a monthly residency here with his band and they are simply amazing! Always a good show from them. The only issue I have here is the drink service n the seating area can be slow as the servers dont seem very good at coming around often or keeping an eye out for when someones drink is low and to come over and ask if another is needed. We were persistently physically, pushed forward from the location of the table that they had given us. No one came to take our order for 15 minutes so I went to the bar to make an order. I was told to order through my server. By the time we got our drinks, we had them for less than five minutes before they came and took them and said that we had to leave or take them in plastic cups. More to the point that treatment and energy was very hostile for no particular reason. It almost felt like we were being Pranked in a television show. I love live music and listen to blues often in Chicago. I would never go back to Buddy guys.

We met the owner, Tony Mangiullo, who was very nice to speak to, and the band through one of the many guests there we met. Everyone we met was fun and kind and the vibe was great. Mostly smaller plates, appetizer style, but sometimes larger items too. The place is not cheap, but you're getting good drinks and great ambiance.
