My children have been cared for by Dr. Joel and the nurses at Sheridan Pediatrics since the day…read morethey were born. They are currently healthy and thriving at ages 15,17, 19. Dr. Joel and staff always listen and respond in a caring manner. They go out of their way to accommodate you when your child is sick. The small practice allows for a personal experience each visit. Sheridan Peds is a wonderful, loving, and nurturing practice. I feel as though they are part of my family. I wish they could treat my children into adulthood.

He told me he was checking to make sure everything was okay in there-such as herpes. I was young, a virgin, and didn't understand. I haven't been to a doctor since because it brings back these traumatic experiences everytime, and I'm 33 now. Please go into the room with your child wherever you take them. My parents never went in the room with me and stayed in the waiting lobby. I saw him for clinical depression which i still have but I had to see him to get my medicines prescribed. He made my depression far worse from inappropriately touching me in ways I didn't understand doctors aren't supposed to do at the time but felt off about it. I trusted him. I wish i made this review and found him years ago seeing as he is still practicing it hurts my heart to think of the others affected by him. If you have been too and wish to talk-please contact me.

This place is a disgrace, always overbooked so be prepared to wait and bring plenty to keep your…read morechild entertained. However the real issue is the "professionals" and their vaccine policy that they try to push and push even after you refuse and are told you can refuse without repercussions but in the end there are repercussions, very real and very scary repercussions that left myself my wife and most importantly our daughter without a pediatrician because we were told we are not welcome there if we didn't follow their vaccine regimen, again after being told there wouldn't be consequences leaving us with false hope that maybe these people actually did care about children but don't be fooled like we were, they do not. All they care about is vaccines being pumped into tiny human beings that weigh less than a sack of potatoes and that's it, they didn't care that our daughter had an ear infection and had a UTI at the same time, they didn't care that she was sick, they didn't care that she wasn't gaining weight, in the end all they cared about was getting what I can only assume was some kind of compensation for vaccinating another 8lb newborn. In the end after questioning their mortality we were told to leave and we were not welcomed there, they didn't give us an alternative, we were left with a sick child that we had to take to urgent care instead. Everyone who works for these immunization facilities needs to reflect on the real reason they are in the profession of pediatric care, it shouldn't be to push narratives it should be to help sick children. Thank almighty god that not everyone thinks like them though and there are facilities out there that will care for a sick child no matter what.

Once actually in the office, everything always runs smoothly and the providers are always compassionate, professional and thorough. I appreciate that they directly talk with my children, letting them know that they are important. If any follow-up is needed or when I call with concerns for my kids, the nurses are always compassionate and helpful.

Unfortunately our experience was not the same. We absolutely loved the doctors! I wish I could remember their names to give them credit. If only those doctors could find a place that cares a little bit more about their clients, I wouldn't be saying this. But, every single time we went into the office we were welcomed by the rudest receptionist I have ever seen. As far as I remember, the nurses were pretty great as well. But I also recall feeling ignored, and made to feel "over worried". They're our babies-we want to know ALL the details! But not only are the receptionists rude, They also completely messed up My daughters schedule. Her two month appointment, which was supposed to be directly after her one-month appointment, got pushed apmost 2 months late!! They didn't see her from month 1 until almost 4!!! Which is unacceptable. Due to "lack of availability" FOR TWO MONTHS-The way I see it is, she was a brand new baby. When I called to ask if they had availability for a newborn, they should've told me NO if they were not going to have the appointments necessary for her best health. But something else was fishy- because remember? I had friends that went to the same exact place! And somehow both friends managed to get their daughters an appointment within the same month that they told me was "completely booked up".... And I mean, we're talking about a newborn here. A month old baby. They're supposed to be seen by the doctor regularly- it seems as though the receptionist just didn't care, or maybe had some personal feelings about our family so they messed up our appointment schedule? I'm not sure but the pieces is just don't fit together. How could you be booked up for one client, but be completely available for another... Well, to say the least, this is the reason we got out of there as soon as we could. And I'm so so grateful to have found a doctor that my daughter currently has. So anyways, I really hope they get rid of that miserable receptionist so that not only can I remove this review, but also so that EVERYBODY that walks in and out of that place-can have a happier and more peaceful day! I'm not saying don't go here... but- be prepared.
