Spacious store with lots of variety and a helpful, knowledgeable staff. I didn't know this before I went, but in Utah, there are strict rules about the amount of adult materials that a store can contain. The main part of the store contains lingerie, massage oils, bridal shower stuff, and more. They have a room on the back, left of their store with what I guess would be considered more adult items. You have to have ID and be 18 or over to be in that part of the store. Madison was helpful and explained about the safety of different materials. So as the husband, on this trip I'm along for the ride. However some observations did happen that made this an epic venture. My wife wanted a place to do a daith piercing. And after much searching while visiting the SLC area I happened upon the reviews of this place and decided that Blue Boutique is where we are heading. So we enter shortly after they open and are greeted fairly quickly by Tiffany. We explained the reason we are there and are informed that the piercer is not in until 12:30. We go okay we will look around and grab lunch and come back. Then my wife, who has lost 119 lbs lately wanted to buy a new bra and get a fitting. She asked Israel for help and that's when I sat back and hung out. The rest of the time Israel was fast and quick with her measuring, suggestions and advice. She found an amazing option for my wife that fit perfectly and has her going I am coming back for more than booby traps in the future. We now ran to lunch with time to kill before we go back for her daith. I am impressed with how quick this was for a husband while his wife shops! Okay I've got to do the part two after lunch visit. We go back and meet with Jake. Epic guy. Joked, got references, gave right responses when asked about coconut laden swallows, and was really friendly and informational. He knew his shtuff and understood how daith rings "work" for migraines but guided through the selection process to find one that would make a beautiful piercing either way. He let us watch the anodizing he did himself and then was extremely attentive and helpful to make sure my wife was okay and comfortable during the piercing. And then again Tiffany and Israel were awesome as we bought more items! Serious, out of all the adult stores we have visited, this place is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable,friendly and helpful, like your hanging with friends. The selection is varied and high quality for anything from everyday to making that special night awesome. We live out of state, but this will be a stop we make every time we come to the SLC area. read more

While Blue Boutique isn't the first place I would think of to get a piercing done, I had one of their piercers recommended to me by a few friends and thought I would check it out. Courtney did my piercing and it was by far the smoothest piercing start to finish. She was very patient with my thousands of questions and nervousness. Can't express how amazing she was, best piercer I have ever been to. Over all service was great, I would like to see Blue Boutique invest a little more in their piercing room. Mostly just for aesthetics. Definitely will be back for any future piercings, and any of my bedroom activity needs. read more

Got my piercings done here which cost about $200 my earring's kept having problems popping out engaging to push it back in :(, so of course i came back in to have it looked at by the same company; but a different piercer.. he told me she did them wrong! She did them too deep and I would need to take them out and let them heal up and get them done at a later time.. read more

My mom was sending me to get her something and we knew it was close to closing so while I drove over there she called them. She had them hold her items at the front for me. I got there and noticed the parking lot was empty and worried I was to late. It was one minute till closing so I quickly got out of my car and as I was walking up I see the girl go lock the door before I can open it. So I tried to tell her my mom called and I'll be out in just a second and she wouldn't help me and just kept saying "were closed". Alright then I'll be getting my things from other places. read more

Super upset. I went into the new Blue Boutique on redwood two days before my wedding to pick out some plugs. After measurement the "professional piercer" recommend a size. I paid $90 for them and they did not fit. Then this "professional piercer" offered to force them in. I expressed concern for a blow out because it's common knowledge to not force a bigger size in your ear, but he reassured me that this is a thing now. After 15 minutes of him trying to force these plugs through my ears, we came to the conclusion that they weren't going to fit after blood was pouring out of my left ear. I demanded a size smaller but they refused to swap them out because of their "no return policy". After crying and begging they still refused. Not only did I waste money and not get my plugs for my wedding, but now my left ear is completely blown out and has shrunk two sizes. Now I am on my honey moon with pain and constant bleeding. I went in this weekend to re-purchase an adult item I have purchased many times. The product is not visible through the packaging, and nowhere in the outside is size indicated. As I have purchased it before, I knew the 2 options, but this one seemed odd. I asked the clerk if she could show me another product of similar size, which she did. (Approx 3 inches long and narrow, as opposed to more rounded one of the same length). I explained that's what I thought, but asked if we could open the box in store to check, as I know the zero return policy, and I was put off by the concern that the box may have been actual size. I was told that she was unable to open the box, but was reassured that the similar product was the exact type inside the box. I excepted her word for it and checked out. Upon getting home, I opened the box, to find that the product inside was about an inch long and about the size of a prescription pill or vitamin. I did not open the clear plastic it was contained in, and called immediately (within 10 mins of leaving the store). I was reminded again of their no return policy, but expressed that it was still sealed in the clear plastic found in the box, and that this exact cause was why I had asked so extensively while in the store. I even spoke with the clerk that had rang me up and answered my questions. She repeated her phrase that there was nothing she could do as that was their policy, but took my phone number so that she could call a higher up and see if there was anything that could be done. She assured me she would call the next day and let me know the situation I was reminded again of their no return policy, but expressed that it was still sealed in the clear plastic found in the box, and that this exact cause was why I had asked so extensively while in the store. I even spoke with the clerk (who turned out to be a manager) that had rang me up and answered my questions. I had heard blue boutique was a nice place but when I got there no one was there. After looking around for 4 minutes some one came out of a back room and did not acknowledge that I was there. I tried to get into the "toy" section but found the door was barred from the other side. I tried to ask one of the now three women to open the door but they were so busy talking about there lives two did not notice me but one who was pregnant gave me one of the nastiest looks I had seen from someone outside my family.
