For $325 (there were toll charges), we had 1 hour of solid entertainment, including a dressed up character, face painting, balloon making, cotton candy, and dancing. The pictures is not what you get. Aside from the adorable Elmo and Cookie Monster costumes that you can't really mess up unless it's a dingy costume the services could use help. The girls were sweet and worked well with the kids and made sure to spoil my son with attention. I have an issue with the booking. If I ask for a bubble machine, I expect a bubble machine. If you didn't have one, I could've packed mine and brought it with me. My son LOOOOOOOVED bubbles at the age of 2. Instead one of the girls was desperately trying to blow bubbles to entertain about 15 toddlers. She only got one bubble out which til this day we all laugh about when we remember. Also, if I ask for a face painter, I expect a face painter. Not some weird little drawings of shapes and flowers on kids hands and faces. Those were two very big disappointments since I had a bubble blower myself and I know a great face painter that I didn't call because they offered me a packaged deal. Be careful when booking, again the girls tried hard and I appreciated them. I was very nice to them but the management/booking should be a little more realistic about what they can offer and what they cannot offer. The party was fun because we made it a blast but it was a disappointment to me because I know what could've been. I recommend using a different company for your entertainment. My reason is because my nephew got sick with covid (he took an at home test) and had to cancel his party. I called today to let them know which is 4 days in advance that his party is canceled. I asked them for a refund. They told me they do not give refunds and they will give me credit for future use only if I give them a medical certificate. This means I have to tell my brother to take his sick child to the doctor to prove that he is sick with covid for an entertainment company to give me credit for future use and on top of it possibly spread his covid to others. That is just so unprofessional and so wrong. Anything can happen at anytime and this company does not have your back. They rather have your money even when they provide nothing for it. Everything exactly as promised for our 1 hour party in Central Park with the Unicorn Princess and Mr Sprinkles the clown (but not a scary clown with face paint, more like a colorfully dressed party host.) Our package included balloon animals, bubbles, facepaint, cotton candy, limbo and other fun dancing. They are professionals who were there 30 minutes early but they parked nearby and came to the site right on time. They also gave us a bonus of time with a cute bunny who they had with them for a different party magic show. They had a speaker to play music and direct the kids through the different activities. Carla (Unicorn Princess) was an amazing face painter and Sprinkles did a great job with the balloon animals. My only comment is--I feel bad for the bunny who is in a carrier hidden under the speaker at times. I just wonder if it's super loud for the bunny in their wagon until it's time for the kids to pet the bunny. Thank you Blue Balloon Parties for making it a smooth and super fun party for 5 year olds in the park. We have never had a party in a public place like that and it went very well. We recently hired two entertainers from this company for my son's 2nd bday. After several phone calls to confirm an arrival window of 6-6:30pm with this company to accommodate their availability, the performers arrived over an hour late. Most of the guests had left by the time the entertainers arrived. When asked, the entertainers shared that they were booked for multiple parties that ran late. I was charged in full before the event. Since the company had already been paid, I have found it impossible to reach their manager to discuss what has happened. This company is unreliable and unprofessional. I would not recommend them to my friends or use them again for any upcoming events. read more

I used Blue Balloon for my grandsons first birthday party. Not once was there talk of gratuity. Now I know it's on the contract. No biggie right? Once the party concluded the entertainers left. 20 mins later one of them comes back and is asking about tips in the middle of the party with kids running around and loud music playing. I was taken aback because she just stood there looking at me after I said I had no cash! I say to her that the company has my card on file and that it's ok for them to run it. Long story short it was a very aggressive uncomfortable situation that even the guests were like what's going on? They run my card for the tip and she leaves. I call the office to tell them what transpired and how unprofessional the approach was, the rep informs me that she will speak to the manager and they would call me back. This is where it gets really good! The manager starts to tell me that she spoke to the entertainer and she said it didn't happen. I try to stop her from speaking because don't tell me that it didn't happen when you were not there and she gets aggressive and says I'm going to keep speaking! I say to her is this how you manage? Is this how you treat a paying customer? You lead by example! No wonder this situation was handled so poorly. In response to the comment left by Adrianna- my ISSUE was the way your employees handled the situation! It had nothing to do with giving a tip! I would have tipped her 20 times over so don't try to make this what it is not to save face! YOU are extremely rude and your employees are unprofessional! Do not attack me for pointing it out and leaving a review that I am in all my rights to do so! Hopefully this will help you learn from it and do better so the next customer doesn't experience this BS! I reserved the Super Hero package for my son's 5th birthday as he's obsessed with superheroes. The Blue Ballon crew came with - 3 people - and one of them was spider-man himself! My son was blown away! The kids had so much fun! The team was super professional, came on time started engaging with the kids from the first second they came, did face painting, games, songs, a magic show and they even had a real bunny for the kids to pet. All the kids and their parents had so much fun and most importantly my son was so happy! Brenna and Yessi our 2 entertainers set up shop and we're so friendly they and they quickly got the the kids the attention and going! Since this was a birthday party for my 4 year old, I really didn't expect the older kids 8-13 to be so involved in the games and dance sequence of the show!!
