A lie! as my dad looked at the car and the motor was fine. Here, they tightened the linkage for my windshield wipers free of charge which def holds them to their name of Honest Mechanix... Also checked my car for me and needed front brake pad/rotors replaced $420 and a synthetic oil change $78. I say this pricing is very fair. I called on Monday and this business was the only one who picked up first call, gave me a quote over the phone and arranged for me to drop off the vehicle next morning. I was greeted right away walking in. They have a decent size lot to park. I was in and out during drop off, quick to take care of me on the call and in and out for pickup. Def recommend. They did the work all in half a day for me. Only critiques is after oil change they mistyped the date as 8/29 and the actual date was 9/29 for a reminder on when to get the next oil change.

I don't feel like I'd ever give a Mechanic a five star, but this place completely amazed me…read more Normally taking my car to get an oil change is like a $200 ordeal every place I've gone to the prices are ridiculous. I bought a Groupon for Broadway tire for an oil change and it cost me like 60 bucks and I'm thinking when I get there they'll be like an up charge or something nope 60 bucks I couldn't believe it. Then I asked them like what the regular price would be and it was 110 literally half the price of what I've been paying everywhere else. They were so nice. Got me in and out took me on a last-minute appointment have gone back several times. I literally won't go anywhere else from my oil changes.

My number one stop for Volvo work…read more I have owned 6 Volvos. The owner John use to work at Seingold Volvo, 766 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI 02861, as a mechanic. When he opened his own shop I was on board. I have been dealing with John over 10 years, and have very few complaints. Pros: Honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, and reliable. When you take your car for an estimate John will let you know all your options. He is not the type of mechanic to add a bunch of unneeded work, and extras. Cons: It's just John. You may need to wait a few days to get an appointment, and because of his busy schedule, you may need to purchase parts for the work. I like buying my own parts. It allows me to see what they actually cost, and helps me to know there are no hidden fees. This may be a turn off to some customers. I would recommend getting into a habit of learning what labor, and parts cost. You'll save lots of money in the long run. John works on most makes, and models, but if you are a Volvo owner in the Attleboro area, making friend with John is a must.

Not all heroes wear capes!…read more My car was badly vibrating when I brought my daughter to college. I was 500 miles away from home and my regular mechanic. Took my car to one shop, and they couldn't figure out the problem. At this point I had taken two extra days off work. After the second day of trying to get my car fixed, I read reviews, and called Tofi at 4 PM. He told me to bring my car in the next morning at 8 AM. He and Jason not only diagnosed a worn/damaged axle, but they made me laugh at a time I was stressing out. They were determined to get my car running and get me back on the road, which Jason did by 11:30 AM. My car is running GREAT! I also really appreciate the fact that they showed me the worn axle and spoke to me like an intelligent human being. Other women will understand what I mean when I say they didn't talk down to me. The cost of the repair was very reasonable, especially since they did the work same day. I cannot express my gratitude for these two. Fantastic mechanics and people. Thank you Tofi and Jason!!!
