You have to knock on the door to be let into the basement which opens up to s beautifully decorated space. Every cocktail we had was amazing. The names change frequently so I can't recall exactly what I had, but there was a passionfruit prosecco drink i loved, and a clarified cocktail that was smooth and sweet. The staff is so nice and had awesome recommendations. Highly recommend trying this spot if you're in the area!

The vibe is very laid back and classy. We made a reservation at 9pm for a group of 6. I ordered a Manolo and White Jacket cocktails and they were both delicious. I was a bit sad they took my manolo before I finished since it was so good. Service was good. The restroom is downstairs and has more seating and my group secretly wanted to sit down there lol.

Even if you are on the island for just a day or afternoon, stop here for a cocktail or bite to eat and you will immediately feel transported to living la dolce vita! Truly, this is what vacationing along the Amalfi Coast is all about. Cocktails are tasty, as is the food, but because this is an obviously touristy spot, the prices are up there! Don't let it deter you, you are on vacation and that means paying for the atmosphere and creating memorable experiences and that makes it totally worth the price!

Go there at least once in your life. But don't tell too many people because I really don't want it turning into another Ibiza. Anyway, it's in this place I came across the following cocktail. It's called a Blue Angel and don't let the name deceive you - this little beauty led me astray. And I let her. For cocktail shakers and Tom Cruise-wannabe's here's the ingredients for making one: - 1 oz brandy - 1/2 oz blue curacao liqueur - 1/2 oz vanilla liqueur - 1/2 oz half-and-half - 1 dash lemon juice There are better cocktails out there but this one reminds me of warm beaches, sparkling seas and healthy people loving life. Not bad for a drink. Enjoy (sensibly).

Platanos We came to…read morePlatanos after visiting their sister bar L'Antiquario, which is a few doors down. While L'Antiquario specializes in the shady speakeasy style and variations on classic prohibition cocktails, Platanos is a bit different. The bar space is colorful and hip, and the bartenders are friendly and chatty. We were there fairly early on a Saturday night and the place was dead, but that meant we got to spend some time with the bartenders Giuseppe and Raffaele as they mixed up our drinks. This place is an interesting fusion of a tiki bar and a cocktail bar. It's less about that 60's island fantasy and more like ... modern tropical hip. But the cocktails were solid and the atmosphere was fun. I enjoyed a Canchanchara with Havana Club 7 year, honey spiced syrup and lime. Simple and delicious. I then enjoyed the Ceylon Old Fashioned - which uses Arrak, palm sugar, añejo rum, pineapple bitters and orange curaçao. My partner had their Platanos Daiquiri, which was blended with fresh bananas. All the drinks were good and fairly balanced. The prices are average for a good cocktail bar in Italy and we'd happily come back again.
