A great little B&B, perfect for anyone wanting to explore the Peak District.
The B&B has two guest bedrooms - we had the one at the front of the property. Our room was compact but really warm, comfy, modern and well-equipped, better than most hotels! Breakfast in the morning was great too and the host, Diane, was very welcoming.
Being in Tideswell, it's easy to get to Castleton and the heart of the Peak District and also near enough to Bakewell and Buxton. Tideswell itself is a nice village and has a Co-Op, a bank and pubs that do food until 8.30pm.
We had our own set of keys so that we could come and go as we needed and there's space to park on the street outside.
It might not be for you if you have children or need lots of communal space - but it's an ideal B&B if you need somewhere to come back to and relax in at the end of a day in the Peak District. read more
