This is a gas station with a smog only licensed technician on duty. M-Sat 8-4pm. Sometimes the DMV registration wants you do this to your car before you register it again. If you ever need a SMOG TEST ONLY. Go here. There is only 1 little old guy working here. His name is Hien. He has been here for many years and continues to handle our Nissan, Tacoma, Hyundai vehicles. Every time we need to get this DMV smog we go to this place and only pay $45.00. Some places will charge more so be aware and vigilant so you don't end up paying some ridiculous amount of money. This little man is quick and fast. Took him 20 minutes. I highly recommend him. I never had a problem. If the car will not smog he will let you know why? He is not a mechanic he is a resource of information. Great attitude and always happy to smog your vehicle. His machines are tied into DMV and he sends the info direct so you can go online and register your vehicle. Super convenient and worthy of our business. He is in the back part of the gas station. Operates by himself. We have been coming here for 10 years. FYI the entire gas station is getting a facelift. He is still operating during this period. They picked up the phone immediately and had availability on a Monday morning! He told me to come in whenever and it only took 15 min. When he got done I mentioned another discount that was offered. He gave me that one too! Another customer was driving up, I knew he too had made a wise decision coming here. He treats people courteously and professionally, no hint of salesmanship or voer-pricing. It's the lowest price in town by my research. My truck took almost an hour to test. It did pass, however three days later I discovered an air filter hose was disconnected and left laying on the exhaust manifold where it melted. Replacing it costed more than the smog test. I consider that gross negligence that could have been worse. First and foremost I own a pretty new japanese sedan and was charged $85 fucking dollars and to my horror this absolute tool was all up in my engine bay with a mirror and a flashlight for over 30 minutes next he was under my car on a piece of cardboard! He scrutinized my entire car ONLY TO TELL ME I did not pass or fail my obd systems aren't ready I need to drive 50 miles on the freeway and then come back! He could have saved us both a lot of time by actually correctly doing his job which is hook up his scan tool, look for MIL codes FIRST, no MIL and I have factory emissions which I do PASS have a nice day. Instead I paid DOUBLE what it should have cost and got zero actually less than zero the guy wasted my time completely. Do not bring your vehicle here! read more

I have never altered my vehicles engine and it passed at this location every other time. This new guy charged me up front and then failed me and lied about my vehicle having a modification.
