I lost a family member, I am in SAN DIEGO, CA working for the US Navy. So, my family in Delaware and I held a Zoom & went to this company's website & we agreed, selected and paid for a a Deluxe Wreath floral item. Instead of what we ordered/paid for, this they delivered two(2) gross house plants without notification to me they changed my order. I called 6 times the next week after the funeral service and spoke to, Dave and his team. All of them lied & stated the wreath was delivered. My family member that was on the ZOOM during our purchase, indicated to the delivery person that a wreath was ordered. The company delivery guy stated two plants were ordered and left(the service was on 8/23/2025-Saturday). I contacted this company on the next available work day (8/25/2025- Monday-Saturday 8/30/2025) and did not get an apology. After a very intense conversation, they offered 20% of my $159 total and stated we should have taken photos of the two plants as we grieved. Absolutely terrible. Said the order arrived and then it never did. Had to have it redelivered, but then it was a plant instead of flowers. Customer service was an absolute joke to deal with. Site doesn't work, emails take forever. Took a month and a half to get any kind of results and still not satisfied. The two women that I used to see in there are not there anymore. Instead, there's an older woman now who is quite indifferent. The last time I ordered, I didn't feel as though they cared if I was there or not, although I've purchased numerous items there, usually by just walking in. Today I tried walking in, and they are not allowing customers inside, probably because of their extreme fear over COVID-19. The woman told me I had to call in the order, and that's not going to happen. I'll find another florist who is much nicer to their customers. It's not just about pretty flowers; Giant can do that. This is about treating the customers right, and they miss the mark. I miss the two women that used to be there. They were friendly and engaging. Their replacement needs a replacement. Blossom Boutique has done many beautiful arrangements for me over the last five years, but they outdid themselves for my daughter's birthday last week. Initially I spoke with Courtney who assisted me with choosing and modifying the arrangement; later Shannon called to make further suggestions. The end result was spectacular! I just started using them as my local florist recently closed. i used them to deliver flowers to my son's girlfriend for her birthday and then flowers to my wife on our anniversary (I was out of town). in both instances the flowers were gorgeous, enthusiastically received and reasonably priced. This was the florist chosen through FTD, not by me. Missing the first delivery and received a notice to call. That's fine. Tried to call in the morning to ask to arrange a delivery or pickup at their store. No answering machine, no way to contact them before they opened. Couldn't even find their hours on the website. Really? So, I went to work and called them when I had a break. The person I talked to told me that the flowers had not been delivered yet, they actually had tried to deliver them and the driver left a note and a voice mail at 10:45am. Employee told me they had talked to the driver and they had yet to deliver them. Really? I asked for a delivery time and was given a 30 minute window at 12:30pm. I was late getting home from work (10mins) and when I called about the delivery I was told he driver had waited 30 minutes and then left a message on my answering machine before they left. Yet, only one message was left from the first attempt at 10:30am. So, did the driver ever show up? I don't think they did. I believe the employee lied to me, not just once but twice. Really? This is how you treat customers? Never again. Don't lie to your customers. read more
