So incredibly disappointed and disgusted that it was assumed this would be acceptable. I ordered and paid for a deluxe "cotton candy" bouquet from FromYouFlowers to be delivered to my mother for Valentine's Day which also included an extra holiday fee on top of the delivery fee. Blooms by Vickrey accepted the order and responsibility to execute the order. What was delivered looked like a mangled mess of leftover hedge clippings in varying uncoordinated colors. Also the vase ordered was supposed to be clear glass with a pink bow, what she received was a white plastic apparatus that resembled a juice carafe... bow nowhere to be found. The Valentines card I selected not present and in it's place a literal folded piece of paper. This is a total insult. I'm hurt and appalled that this is what my beautiful mother received. read more

I'm not sure which business produced the final product but I hold both responsible for poor quality control. I couldn't have been more disappointed and embarrassed. I ordered the Country Sunshine. I upgraded to the Premium arrangement. The arrangement delivered looked nothing like the arrangement that I ordered. The vase, ribbon, and flowers were different and worse yet, the quality, quantity, and styling of the finished product looked poor. The order total was $83.39 for the arrangement that I ordered. This is not my first bad experience with them. Last year at Valentine's Day they did not deliver the type of flower that was paid for and the arrangement was extremely small. Their arrangements are an embarrassment and I wouldn't purchase them for any occasion. This is the bouquet I arrived home to today for Valentine's Day. The vase is no larger than a Mason jar. And the whole bouquet only sits 11" tall! There is only one sprig of lily, one pink rose, one red rose and one daisy. The rest is greens. There were also stems that weren't even in the vase just sticking out that I had to put in the vase. The sad thing is, I'm sure the person who purchased them for me paid a lot for them. I ordered flowers through 1800flowers and the order was filled by this florist as a part of their network. The bouquet was significantly smaller than what was ordered. When I spoke with the florist they rudely informed me that since 1800flowers takes a service fee from the price they make a smaller bouquet. Thats the equivalent of the pizza place making you half a pie if you ordered through Doordash! Dishonest business and will not do business with them again. read more

I ordered flowers through 1-800-Flowers. The $75 arrangement arrived with 2 carnations, 1 rose, and 2 lilies that had not bloomed. It was advertised with a photo that shows - on just one side: 6 roses; 8 carnations, and 3 bloomed lilies. After I called both 1-800-Flowers and Vickery's, the flowers were supposed to be replaced and everything was to be "made right." UNTIL, I got a call from an employee named Donna, who told me that it was my fault for ordering through the Internet. She told me that Vickery's hadn't been paid; therefore, there was nothing they would do for me. They actually blamed me for not calling them directly. And the employee was rude on top of all that. Update: Vickrey's sent a replacement arrangement that was similar to the one advertised. Although it was still an unpleasant experience, I appreciate the correction. read more

Extremely upset with my WEDDING flowers from Blooms By Vickrey from my May 27th 2018 wedding. After spending over an hour with Sue (and even Mark coming in to check on the appointment) our wedding planner, my husband, and myself - thought we were all on the same page. I kept saying I wanted 'light greenery throughout the all of the flowers, with light pale pink flowers and larger, oversized bouquets', I also kept saying 'light eucalyptus and silver dollar colored leafy greenery'. I even showed Sue multiple pictures of what I wanted, she seemed to understand. What do I get 2 hours before the start of the wedding?? Small, wilted bouquets with greenery that looked like dark seaweed! When they arrived I could't even complement the flowers since they were that far off from what I wanted and not fresh! Sue asked if she should cut the flowers out (why would a florist even recommend that??) and we had her open up the entire bouquet and take the greenery out, after she left a family friend actually went outside of the wedding venue and CUT NEW GREENERY from the hotel grounds for my bouquet! This family friend is also a florist and said that the stems were all wilted and not at all fresh. My photographer even asked if she could take out a flower because it was brown and would't photograph well! Then after the wedding, I reached out to them regarding my issues only to get unprofessional and extremely rude responses from a manager that basically said they were not responsible for what the 'wholesaler' provided and that there was nothing they could do. Not a single apology, they even said their 'feelings were't hurt', and when I requested to speak with Sue and Mark in person (the owners) I was given no email response and no return phone call. They also said that they thought I was satisfied when Sue left the flowers - if the main thing I wanted was light leafy greenery and that was taken out of the flowers, how was I satisfied? Very unprofessional, not accountable, and was completely unsympathetic to the fact that my wedding flowers (that will forever be in our photos) were subpar to say the least! We no longer live in Camp Hill and asked our mother's minister for recommendations for a local florist for our mother's funeral. She recommended Blooms by Vickrey. We told Sue, the designer, what we had in mind. She created the arrangements exactly as we wanted and they were absolutely stunning. The two large arrangements for the alter vases and smaller floral arrangements for the reception were done in our mother's favorite colors, as we had requested. I was quite pleased with my recent purchase. I'm from out of town but thought I'd use the florist that provides the flower service to my Mom's church. It was my Mom's 93rd birthday and she's a bit of a challenge to please. I'm not a big corsage person, but I thought it might be nice as a conversation starter in the nursing home. Kiersten listened carefully and showed me samples from their website for ideas. I selected an orchid and carnation mix. I always thought orchids were fragile and would require special care, but the quality of the corsage weathered the hot car ride and continued to maintain its freshness for over one week. My Mom insisted on putting it on each morning and returning it to its box each evening. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating, is because the pin for the corsage was missing.
