Whenever I find myself needing to send flowers I often head over to the Fiddly Fig's website to…read moreplace an order. They always do a nice job, the flowers are fresh and look as advertised, and the best part? This is a local business. I will say they aren't cheap, but with the end result being consistently good I do think it's worth it and they deliver pretty much anywhere in the metro which I think is really great considering that we have such a big area. I've delivered as far north as the Northland and as far south as 172nd street and they've been on time and done a nice job. I'll be back!

I never once felt in the dark about the process, I had made multiple changes to the order, adding, taking off, and adding again but Kelsey was always understanding and transparent to ensure it was exactly what we wanted and needed for our special day. The mock up to what we actually received day of was breathtaking - I had no idea the flowers would have turned out as beautiful as they did. I was so impressed and it caught the attention of our guests as they were raving about them all night. To this day, we still get comments from our guests about how beautiful our florals were. It was very apparent that she put so much thought into the design. I am not too familiar with floral arrangements and she was SO helpful in creating a detailed floral plan. I felt extremely confident in her during our planning stages and she was able to relieve all the stress I felt from decorating. Responses were quick and timely! For someone who is very indecisive like me, I felt cared for in knowing that I was able to contact her to give me some advice on decor, color schemes, designs and how it would look as a whole. I was able to collaborate with her on extra details that I would purchase to highlight the floral arrangements. She was so patient, helpful, and encouraging! As I was getting ready to walk down the aisle, holding my GORGEOUS bouquet, the arbor was in clear view and I was so overwhelmed at how beautiful, full, and unique it was. For all you wedding planners/brides, the arbor is the first thing that guests see when they come to your wedding and you definitely do not want to disappoint! Then, when we came out for our reception, I was blown away at how absolutely beautiful our sweetheart table was decorated! As my husband and I were having our dinner, I cannot count how many times we said to each other, "Omg...Laura did SOOOO GOOD!" We wish were able to keep EVERYTHING! But we did bring our entire arbor home just so we could adore it for just a little longer :) And we preserved some of the arrangements, such as my bouquet, his boutonnière, and some of the smaller arrangements. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING ! ! ! I live in Denver and was ordering a special birthday arrangement for my…read morebest friend that lives in Leawood, KS. When I called Stems to order a floral arrangement, the woman who answered was in her car and had to pull over to take the order. I should have known then to hang up. I ordered a $75 arrangement and discussed with the woman a more expensive version of an arrangement on the website that had a predominantly pale color palette with just a small pop of bright orange and pink. When I saw a photo of what was sent to my friend, first of all . . . . . .it didn't even look professionally arranged at all. And in fact there was no tape or any sort of typical form to hold flowers in place. It looked like someone took a handful of flowers and haplessly shoved them in a cheap, very ordinary vase. (On their website they state that they offer "unique designs and containers that you wouldn't find anywhere else.") The color palette was the opposite of what I asked for. It was predominantly very bright colors with a small amount of pale flowers. I could have overlooked that if it had looked remotely like a professional arrangement or like a $75 arrangement. There was a rose showed right down into the middle of a hydrangea! When I called to complain, the woman asked what I wanted her to do and I said I wanted them to redeliver an arrangement that looked like a $75 professional arrangement of flowers. She said that was impossible. She offered to discount it down to $50, but I told her that I didn't feel it even looked like a $50 arrangement. At that point she started arguing about how much the individual flowers cost and that the wholesaler was out of pale flowers that morning. She also said it was a holiday weekend and that there really wasn't anything she could do because the store was closed for another 3 days. She really acted rather put out that she was having to deal with me. I told her I had previously used another florist in that area and chose her store because it APPEARED on their website be a more upscale designer florist, but that I was greatly disappointed. She suggested that if I was happier with the previous florist that is in fact who I should use in the future. Well . . . that goes without saying. Not only will I not use her in the future, but I've advised my rather well-connected friend in Leawood, KS to spread the word about the abysmal product and service. In the end, my friend pulled the flowers out and rearranged them herself and did a much better job than Stems Floral's supposedly "award winning" floral designer.
