I really believe we should have the option of using negative ratings. The owner of this florist shop should be completely ashamed of herself! My cousin placed an order with her for an arrangement for my sister's memorial service. She was asked if she could make a 24" "French Country" style arrangement with sunflowers. The florist, who is also a former employer and self-described friend of my cousin, assured her she would "take care of it personally". She told my cousin she had a galvanized container "left over" from Mother's Day she could use. At no point did she indicate the container was approx. 7 1/2" tall with a 3 1/2" base. Of course, a container that small would be completely unsuitable for a 24" tall arrangement, particularly with top-heavy sunflowers. The flowers were delivered to the church on Saturday (the day before the service). When I saw them, I contacted the florist and asked if I could stop by and pick up a larger container because the container was so undersized the arrangement fell over at the slightest touch. (It wasn't even possible to add water without holding it up because it fell over.) They indicated they'd be closing before I could get there and asked if they could send someone over to the church to correct the problem. Unfortunately, there wouldn't be anyone at the church when they could be there so the young man assisting me offered to reimburse me if I would go buy a larger container. As you might imagine, I was pressed for time but felt I had no alternative so I went and spent $20 on a larger container. Of course, I then had to hastily prop up the original container inside the larger container because the flowers were too short. (Meanwhile I'm still trying to do everything else I need to get done in time for the memorial service.) Today, I went to the florist with my receipt for reimbursement. I barely made it through the door when the florist charged out and began screaming at me -- without a mask and shaking her finger in my face. Apparently, my cousin had called to complain about the flowers being wilted. Yes, they were already wilted but I hadn't even bothered to complain about that, I was only there to obtain a reimbursement. When I tried to explain the situation I'd discussed with the young man from Saturday, she continued to scream at me and tell me "she would not do it". She then proceeded to step into the back room where her other employees were busy working, so she could scream at them and ask them who agreed to reimburse me and to continue shout "I'm not gonna do it!" (Reimburse me for the container). When I informed her she was leaving me no alternative but to post a negative review, she told me "that's fine and I'll be sure to let everyone know how you screamed at me." Of course, never at any point, did I ever raise my voice to her. As anyone who has ever been on the receiving end of such hysterical and abhorrent behavior knows, screaming back only exacerbates an already untenable situation. At no point during the entire exchange, did the florist ever apologize for making an already difficult time more difficult through her own lack of conscientiousness. To then further hurt and offend someone who is still grieving is completely inexcusable. read more

Honestly I don't know why I'm giving them two stars. After reading reviews here it looks like I'm not the first person who orders flowers and they don't get delivered. Then they don't even take responsibility. They don't even deserve one star after reading the reviews they should have fixed this issue a long time ago. I went there Saturday morning to order for Mother's Day. I spoke with the lady and showed her which flowers I wanted. She told me that they didn't have the flowers for that arrangement so then I picked another one. She told me they had that one. I asked her if I can order it. She told me just to go ahead and order on their website. I went on their website and paid for the flowers. Come the next day I didn't hear from anyone about the flowers and found it odd. I called the flower shop and basically they blamed their website provided and cleaned their hands in regards to the issue and didn't not bother to assist with a solution. read more

Ordered flowers a week ago via FTD.com. Delivery date Feb 13, as Feb 14 is always jam packed and half the time my order doesn't get delivered. Found out that wife was leaving work early, so had to rush and figure out how the flowers could be delivered before 1 pm. FTD was a waste of space, but after speaking to Geena at Bloomington's # 1 florist, she assured me the flowers would get delivered to its destination before my wife left for work today. Within an hour, she made it happen!! This is what I call taking ownership and understanding its customers!! I'll be ordering directly from here from now on and screw FTD!! Wow this is the best shop for great flowers and Kathy & Ann are amazing people to work with. I have been going to this shop from the time I was 12 and Sunny would have me help out and work off flowers or make a few bucks. I always get the flowers for my grandmother's birthday here and they are always amazing. After the flowers arrive there I always get the phone call with the biggest smile in her voice. ZERO Stars! My husband was so excited to surprise me with beautiful roses on Valentines to found out that they never delivered them. They attempted to deliver them a Saturday which makes no sense because I don't work on Saturday still trying to figure that one out. It's only common sense for my husband to get a full refund. Please take accountability for your actions and do what is ethical I would only recommend this place if you want your wife/ girlfriend to get their bouquet of flowers the next day and not on Valentines. PERIOD. Beware of this company they are not helpful on the phone have some integrity when you are a business owner. My husband and I contacted this company several times and they are giving us the run around. Don't waste your time and money. I placed an order a couple days prior to my mother's birthday (went in store) and then had my boyfriend pick it up the day of her birthday. The arrangement was gorgeous, but there were signs of browning on the flowers which was a bummer. Somewhat pricey also, considering the state the flowers were in but the arrangement was again, gorgeous. Was a long time customer (8+ years) until the steady decline in customer service and substandard attention to detail had me leave for good. As customary, I ordered flowers for my wife (just because). Flowers that HAVE ALWAYS specifically requested NOT to be included (carnations & baby's breath) were part of the arrangement. Naturally; being a long-time customer, I brought to attention to owner (forgot her name- cranky lady). Side note: I'm convince Laura; former florist was the most magnificent florist and kept this place pleasant and professional, but she is no longer there. Anyhow, they actually picked up the arrangement, removed the unwanted flowers, and re-delivered it. They got it right, right? Well, the next time around that I ordered flowers (yes, I send flowers VERY frequent to my wife), the owner told me to go somewhere else because of my 1 negative experience. She was willing to let go of a good, long-standing customer due to my 1 complaint in 8 years! Ordered Flowers from 1800 flowers the flowers that were delivered from bloomingtons were awful. They looked nothing like the picture they didn't contain all the flowers that were on the website description. The arrangement on 1800 flowers had multiple colors these were only a single color and the worst part they were already weltering and not fresh. They were dead in under 2 days. If this is the quality of arrangements produced I would never order from this company I cant stress how disappointed I was in my arrangement. Seriously its not that hard to at least have flowers that are not already dying. When I showed 1800 flowers a picture of the flowers I received they refunded my money and they never refund so that goes to show how bad they were. After the way this florist went out of their way for me today they will have my business from now on. I live in the SF Bay Area and usually use FTD in line to send flowers to my Mom in Rialto. This time they screwed up and even though I ordered in advance, no flowers and no possibility until Tuesday...so on Mother's Day at 2pm, I started desperately calling florists in the Rialto area. After being turned down several times, this florist agreed to get flowers delivered on 2 hours notice. The flowers were beautiful and they were so nice to me on the phone and to my Mom when they delivered them...they sure can teach the folks over at the FTD 800# a few things about customer service. They made my day! I will be calling them directly from now on. read more

My family surprised me with a Beautiful vase of pink lilies and 4 light colored Roses. They were very much in bloom and smelled great. On inspection noticed the just past budding roses had brown curled petals on all of them. They were dying and not fresh. When I called and explained the girl told me she had gotten her flowers the same day. Just wanted it replaced nothing more,,,and she refused without calling my sister.
