Pam then placed an unauthorized charge on our credit card -- even though the job remains incomplete. They asked if i would give the motorized shade a chance to straighten out and work so I did. Pam did not confirm their next appointment as we requested so we made other plans. Pam was cautioned that i do not authorize her to use my credit card. There were not repeated attempts to resolve this. There was one unconfirmed visit. Between the product quality, poor communication, and billing issues -- avoid this business. Not worth the hassle. I have had Hunter Douglas installed in many homes but not by this franchise. I ordered top down bottom up shades, certain shades automatic and color. When they were installed several window shades were forgotten. Everything about them was wrong. (color, not automatic, not top down bottom up, not blackout). They admitted they were at wrong with all these things and would fix them as their guarantee states. I had to pay upfront for them because they are custom. I was then told they were not able to offer top down bottom up or automatic and the color had been discontinued. So I really didn't want them at all anymore. This has been over a year ago. Apparently all they would fix for cost was the color. I knew they take 6 months to come in so I checked back in to see where we were. Apparently I was forgotten about and I need to pay even more for new shades that I don't even want. Do NOT use them. Hunter Douglas was disgusted when I called them but said they couldn't do anything. There is another local business that I went to and they were straight and said we cannot do automatic on your windows they are too narrow. Upfront.
