Review DO NOT USE…read moreSHADY LADY INTERIORS - Extremely Disappointing We spent over $8,000 on Hunter Douglas blinds from SHADY LADY INTERIORS, and the experience has been frustrating from start to finish. The product is cheaply made in Mexico, and after 7+ months and multiple corrections, our motorized blinds still don't work properly When we asked for a reasonable discount due to the ongoing issues, PAM OLDFIELD (the owner) called us "freeloaders" and claimed we were "just trying to get something for free" Pam was reassured we would pay the balance of 4200.00 + in full when they are installed and working. Pam then placed an unauthorized charge on our credit card -- even though the job remains incomplete. They asked if i would give the motorized shade a chance to straighten out and work so I did. Pam did not confirm their next appointment as we requested so we made other plans. Pam was cautioned that i do not authorize her to use my credit card. There were not repeated attempts to resolve this. There was one unconfirmed visit. Between the product quality, poor communication, and billing issues -- avoid this business. Not worth the hassle. Fun fact- her adult grandson wanted to fix one of the issues by putting duct tape on the valance. Interesting how you found this post but ignore emails and texts to complete the job.

They lost a part to the shade and two months later I am still trying to get replaced. Installer inexperienced and took three visits. One story after another on replacement part, they had it, they don't have it, etc. Also, received a quote from another business and substantially less for two additional shades. Buyer beware. Do not recommend.

I have way more to say than Yelp allows me to write, so I had to shorten and remove my story about…read morethe decision-making process, which was daunting and frustrating and time consuming. The story ends well though, with us finding IBEX and a first phone call that started with Ricky saying, "So tell me about this window project. What is your home like, and what are you hoping for?" After that first conversation I felt calm and like I had finally found what I was looking for - someone who could take it from here. We hired IBEX to replace 29 windows in our home. Our house was built in the 1930s but the windows were aluminum and probably installed in the 1970s. We knew when buying the home in 2020 we'd need to replace them, but after one year of holding them open with books, ice inside, condensation that caused the paint to warp on every sill, and one that straight up leaked when rain blew in from the west, we decided in early 2022 it was time. We are so thankful we found Ricky and Raymond at IBEX and took the leap. We easily trusted them and their recommendations. The windows were installed to perfection, even though upon removing the old ones, we found that the wood had warped and rotted, and the wood had to be replaced and the windows had to be rewrapped. I can't say enough about how it was all done perfectly, with no issues, at a very fair price, by great people. We love supporting this local OKC business and highly recommend IBEX. I am happy to share more of our decision-making process and before/after photos with anyone considering them for their project.

Again, if anyone asks me about windows, I'll be referring them to IBEX.
