    The brick oven

We were greeted right away. We got lucky that they had the oven fired up from an earlier event. Usually on Thursday you are unusable to order pizza before 5 pm. It was cold inside the building we sat close to the brick oven to steal some heat. Our pizza was delicious. The crust had a crunch to it. Just right for me. I loved all 3 of the wines I tried. Never thought of wine and pizza together but it worked out. The 4 stars is for the price of the wine flights. I'm from Indiana and usually do free tasting.

Let me say first, I love wood fired pizza, and I have had some exceptional wood fired pizza in the past. Since we were in town visiting, I came for the pizza. Unfortunately, this is not exceptional wood fired pizza! The night we were there, they only had small pizzas available, since there were three in our party, we ordered three pizzas. Order was placed at the same time, two pepperoni and one margherita. Two pepperoni came out within 10 minutes, the margherita took an additional 20 minutes after the pepperoni. Now a true wood fired pizza takes about 3 minutes to cook, sometimes less. So not sure what the problem was, and the waitress gave no explanation. I can only attest to the pepperoni. Crust was crisp on outside, chewy on inside. Nice char on top. But WAY too much corn meal on the bottom of the crust! Red sauce was bland to no taste. Some seasoning would be a good idea. Cheese was hot and well melted but bland as well. Pepperoni was definitely chain store pepperoni. Overall, ahhh, it was a pizza. Not something I would come back for. Not something I would recommend. Only drinks available were bottled soda or wine. No fountain drinks, no water in a glass, no sweet tea. I guess that's why it's called a winery. My two stars is for the pizza and drinks alone. I can't attest to the wine or other menu items. I wish them luck, but I'm not a wine drinker so won't be making a special trip to come back.

My husband and I came to Florence for a weekend trip. We had never been there. While driving home, we rated every place we went to. We gave everything 3/5, but BLOOM Winery was a 5/5. The staff were exceptional and the wine and food were excellent. Will 100% be back. Del and Brooklyn Miles

Bloom winery a good Friday night hangout spot. Good pizza, good wine, and friendly atmosphere. Owner of the establishment was very nice and friendly. Will be back to taste the variety of wines

Just moved back from Italy and this is the best pizza I've had! Came to the soft opening and am so happy that I did! The wine is phenomenal, and we are wine and pizza snobs! So glad they are here! Joining the wine club and visiting often! Owners came out and talked with us, super friendly and I cannot wait to visit their vineyard! I'd love to post a photo of the 3 pizzas we ate but we devoured them! Delicious!

Maybe ok for wine but not pizza. Crust had no flavor. I don't know but suspect the crust was frozen.

There was a lady to the left of us in a booth and a couple to the right of us. It was quiet and nicely decorated. Our server came by to take our drink orders. We all had water and a bottle of their Chardonnay. We ordered a small charcuterie, a large Garden Pizza and a large Omnivore pizza. The charcuterie board was full of delicious meats, cheeses, olives, cranberries, chocolates and more. I enjoyed this charcuterie much more than the place downtown that is famous for charcuterie. 5/5 The Chardonnay was perfectly chilled with a delightful light crisp taste. 5/5 The Garden Pizza and the Omnivore pizza were perfectly cooked with a hint of smoke from the wood fired pizza oven. Both pizzas had plenty of toppings and all 4 of us said the crust was delicious. The wood fired pizza's were much better than the wood fired pizza I ate near a brewery. 5/5 If you like wine, charcuterie, and wood fired pizzas, please stop by Bloom Winery. We had a great time and great food. 5/5

I personally enjoyed the Nineteen and purchased a bottle to go. Its a good balance of sweet and strong. They're flights consist of your preferences of wine - as many as you want! They also have food such as pizza, cheese bread, charcuterie board and salad. The charcuterie board is my fave, but the pizza is tasty as well. There's plenty of space and tables indoors, and parking is plenty. This is a nice spot for a date night, solo pleasuries or catching up with friends. Staff has been friendly and informative regarding their wines.

Nestled in historic Madison, V&O offers some of the most unique wines and whiskey/bourbon offerings in the region. There's a typical bar area with TVs showing sports, but surrounding the bar are plush, lounge chairs and couches that feel more intimate and inviting for groups. Selection of libations is a great start, but without passionate and knowledgeable 'tenders the experience feels... incomplete. V&O doesn't disappoint here either as everyone is well-versed and opinionated in what they are serving. It's the perfect place to let a few hours bleed away and forget what is going on in the world; maybe have an intelligent sparring session about tastes in the 'brown drink' or adult grape juice... You can spend an entire night here or end up here at the end of the night for a night cap... I don't think you can wrong either way. It's becoming one of my favorite places for wine and whiskey/bourbon... but tread carefully; there are so many things to try you may find it hard to walk out to a ride home. However, you won't regret the time spent within the walls of this gem... I can't promise the same for the next day

This place opened recently and offers a huge selection of wines (from Germany, France, California, New Zealand, and more), several varieties of bourbon, and a craft cocktail menu. They also have charcuterie boards and a shop with wine- and alcohol-themed memorabilia that are really quite cute -- think tumblers, candles, and other great gifts. There are televisions playing softly in the room with the bar but there's also a more intimate room; I think it'd be a nice place to gather with friends. I was told there'd be wine tasting nights starting soon! The bartender, Teylor, was exceptional! She put me right at ease, spoke knowledgeably about each cocktail and wine option, and had a good sense of humor. She worked efficiently among the patrons and was very attentive and polite. Shout-out to Teylor! The vibe was really great too - the other guests were friendly and sociable without being overbearing and I enjoyed my visit while having a drink. I ordered the Monte Sano Sunset, which is a rum drink with fruity elements to include orange and pineapple juice as well as a squeeze of lime. It wasn't overly sweet and didn't upset my stomach as similar drinks often do. It was a pleasure to watch Teylor make my beautiful drink as well as what others ordered; there was even fire involved with one particular beverage! I enjoyed my drink and heard rave things from the other guests about each and every drink that was served. Although this bar is rather far away for me, I look forward to bringing friends from out of town to this special new place.

Slushy flavors this date were peach and piña colada -- sangria flavors were raspberry mint and one other I can't recall. The raspberry mint sangria was the best thing I had all day, refreshing on this super hot day with a strong mint flavor. All of the wines we sampled were really wonderful. We ordered a dry white wine flight and a sweet flight to split, our favorite dry was Villard Blanc, and sweet would have to be between the Fig Wine and the Piña Colada wine (most interesting wine I've ever had). Open 12-6 Saturday and Sundays they had a taco food truck this date for food option. You can sit inside or out, lots of open spaces to choose from. You can also take a seat in the vineyards!!
