There was a lady to the left of us in a booth and a couple to the right of us. It was quiet and nicely decorated. Our server came by to take our drink orders. We all had water and a bottle of their Chardonnay. We ordered a small charcuterie, a large Garden Pizza and a large Omnivore pizza. The charcuterie board was full of delicious meats, cheeses, olives, cranberries, chocolates and more. I enjoyed this charcuterie much more than the place downtown that is famous for charcuterie. 5/5 The Chardonnay was perfectly chilled with a delightful light crisp taste. 5/5 The Garden Pizza and the Omnivore pizza were perfectly cooked with a hint of smoke from the wood fired pizza oven. Both pizzas had plenty of toppings and all 4 of us said the crust was delicious. The wood fired pizza's were much better than the wood fired pizza I ate near a brewery. 5/5 If you like wine, charcuterie, and wood fired pizzas, please stop by Bloom Winery. We had a great time and great food. 5/5

Nestled in historic Madison, V&O offers some of the most unique wines and whiskey/bourbon offerings in the region. There's a typical bar area with TVs showing sports, but surrounding the bar are plush, lounge chairs and couches that feel more intimate and inviting for groups. Selection of libations is a great start, but without passionate and knowledgeable 'tenders the experience feels... incomplete. V&O doesn't disappoint here either as everyone is well-versed and opinionated in what they are serving. It's the perfect place to let a few hours bleed away and forget what is going on in the world; maybe have an intelligent sparring session about tastes in the 'brown drink' or adult grape juice... You can spend an entire night here or end up here at the end of the night for a night cap... I don't think you can wrong either way. It's becoming one of my favorite places for wine and whiskey/bourbon... but tread carefully; there are so many things to try you may find it hard to walk out to a ride home. However, you won't regret the time spent within the walls of this gem... I can't promise the same for the next day

This place opened recently and offers a huge selection of wines (from Germany, France, California, New Zealand, and more), several varieties of bourbon, and a craft cocktail menu. They also have charcuterie boards and a shop with wine- and alcohol-themed memorabilia that are really quite cute -- think tumblers, candles, and other great gifts. There are televisions playing softly in the room with the bar but there's also a more intimate room; I think it'd be a nice place to gather with friends. I was told there'd be wine tasting nights starting soon! The bartender, Teylor, was exceptional! She put me right at ease, spoke knowledgeably about each cocktail and wine option, and had a good sense of humor. She worked efficiently among the patrons and was very attentive and polite. Shout-out to Teylor! The vibe was really great too - the other guests were friendly and sociable without being overbearing and I enjoyed my visit while having a drink. I ordered the Monte Sano Sunset, which is a rum drink with fruity elements to include orange and pineapple juice as well as a squeeze of lime. It wasn't overly sweet and didn't upset my stomach as similar drinks often do. It was a pleasure to watch Teylor make my beautiful drink as well as what others ordered; there was even fire involved with one particular beverage! I enjoyed my drink and heard rave things from the other guests about each and every drink that was served. Although this bar is rather far away for me, I look forward to bringing friends from out of town to this special new place.

The service is top notch, family owned & operated!! Owners were onsite asking patrons if everything was okay, pouring samples, and giving out dog treats dog friendly is a plus!! They were serving sweet wines, slushies, and sangrias inside with dry wines served outside. The staff was knowledgeable of the product and helpful when picking out preferences. Slushy flavors this date were peach and piña colada -- sangria flavors were raspberry mint and one other I can't recall. The raspberry mint sangria was the best thing I had all day, refreshing on this super hot day with a strong mint flavor. All of the wines we sampled were really wonderful. We ordered a dry white wine flight and a sweet flight to split, our favorite dry was Villard Blanc, and sweet would have to be between the Fig Wine and the Piña Colada wine (most interesting wine I've ever had). Open 12-6 Saturday and Sundays they had a taco food truck this date for food option. You can sit inside or out, lots of open spaces to choose from. You can also take a seat in the vineyards!! The bathrooms are inside and super clean/nice always a plus. I just love this gem added to the HSV area.

05/13/2021 What can I say... Tennessee Moonshine, lol…read more I would say Southern Pride Distillery is considered as a micro (or small) distillery. The moonshine comes in different flavors; apple, green apple, peach, blackberry and old reliable (the original, shot in the arm) moonshine. I didn't forget about Whiskey flavors of cinnamon, peach and double barrel. Since the distillery is small, there's not much to look at; if you decide to visit. I would recommend calling before visiting, because the hours of operation changes on occasion. I'm not much of a drinker, but I bought a bottle for a friend (ahem).
