So I hadn't had my hair cut in over a year!! Can you believe it? I was terrified because I have very looong curly thick hair. The last time I cut it, I picked the wrong person and they butchered it so badly that I ended up having to cut it to my chin. I was devastated! This time I did some research and found Liz! Amazing! It needs to be noted for future clients that I saw highly rated reviews, so I felt confident about taking my daughter to get her hair cut here. My daughter's hair was mid-back, cut straight across with no layers, and it's very thick. Such an easy haircut, I thought, considering it was pretty much a blank canvas. When I called, I now realize we were never if we wanted a higher-level stylist. I showed the lady the pictures my daughter wanted her hair cut to look like; it was a basic layered cut with curtain bangs. She really didn't listen and kind of said she knew what she was talking about. I said we think the layers would help break up the thickness in her hair and make it easier for her to put in a ponytail for cheer. My daughter walked out with a SHAG cut! Literally, I was blown away. Her hair was a little below her shoulders, and the hairdresser used thinning shears and cut my daughter's hair to the point you could see through it to her neck! It looked like she had split ends all the way up her hair shaft to her head. I left respectfully and tipped 20%. I didn't want to upset my daughter or freak her out. I called and told them nicely it wasn't what we asked for, and the lady wanted to bring us back in to let the lady who ruined it try to fix it first for free, and I was terrified. Like no way! I said no, I would like someone else higher up in skill. They said okay but would have to charge me again. I said okay and then spoke to a friend who lives in another state that is a hairdresser, and she said they absolutely should not charge you. She told me to call them back and tell them you spoke to another hairdresser, and they confirmed this is not the case. They gave me an appointment with a senior stylist at no charge, and still, her hair was unfixable. Just a terrible experience; my daughter hardly has enough hair to put up for cheerleading now. It looks awful; she needs hair extensions in 6th grade now! Didn't even get my money back $100 wasted. read more

I went to this salon a few months ago with Elizabeth as my stylist for the first time, and it was the biggest mistake of my life. I felt it was rushed because she told me she was going on vacation the next day. I asked for 5 natural looking highlights and what I received were huge yellow chunks just on the top and front of my head. She also refused to tone my hair after being charged for it and told me I had to do it myself. She also didn't dry my hair so I couldn't tell how bad it was until I got home. I had to go to a different stylist to get it fixed. I will never trust this woman with my hair again. Soon after I noticed my hair started falling out in chunks. My hair was completely fried and my scalp was burned. Do not go here! read more
