I was a first time client. The salon itself is a nice establishment that offers everything. Scheduling was very easy and the person I spoke with on the phone was pleasant. When I got to my appointment everything seemed fine. I was scheduled at 2:15. I waited roughly 15-20 minutes passed my appointment time until some random employee decided to shampoo my hair. (Why would you shampoo my hair prior to taking a look at the present state of my hair/current haircut?) the girl who shampooed my hair rubbed my head like a ball of dough. (With her palms.... Huh?) Then she placed me at an empty station with a cape and wet head. I waited like that for another 10-15 minutes. Then I hear, "Do you want me to move her?" So, shampoo girl walks in my general direction, not anywhere I can see her, and says "Ok, over here." Who are you talking to? Me? Maybe make eye contact with me so I know you're talking to me? I'm then moved to another station where I wait a little over 5 more minutes. At this point I'm thoroughly irritated and about to walk out. As I'm about to leave the chair the stylist (Kaila) comes over and asks, "What are we doing today?" She can obviously tell that I'm irritated. So, I try to explain what I want. (A little difficult with a slick, wet head.) So, she begins to cut my hair. I am terrified during the entire cut because never has anyone EVER cut my bangs while wet. Ever. And she did. All in all, Kaila did a great cut. I'm very happy with the quality of my haircut, but I will NOT return to that salon. Such a horrible experience for a first time client. I would have been much happier if someone would have just told me she was running behind rather than the musical chair act. read more

I 100% recommend Bloom but especially Andrea! I've been seeing her for almost a year now. I came to her after my old stylist turned my hair a streaky bozo orange - the day before my father's memorial service. What I love and appreciate most about Andrea is that during our first appointment together, she took time to ask me what I wanted and what my hair goals were. When I told her I wanted more strawberry blonde she told me honestly she wouldn't do it on the first go because my hair was so fried from being over highlighted that going that dark would likely be a shell shock. She has gotten me on a rotating schedule so that instead of highlights everytime I go, we alternate to avoid too much damage. Since I've started coming to her my hair has never looked healthier and I've actually never loved my hair more. 10/10-you won't regret seeing her! I have been going to Bloom Salon for many years, and Andrea is my hair stylist. I have never left a review, but thought it was time. I always get the same, highlights, base bump and cut. It turns out perfect every time she does it, and it looks so pretty when she is finished with me. My hair is kind of long, as I wear ponytails a lot. Lately, I have been thinking about getting it cut into a bob, and if I do, Andrea is the only one I would trust to do that. She is professional and very experienced, just what you need if making a change like that. As a bonus, the salon itself is very nice. I've been going to Kendra for almost 7 years and right off the get go, she was super sweet, professional, welcoming and very reasonably priced. She talked me through every process and gave me pros and cons of every idea I wanted to try to make sure I was really getting the best cut/color and be happy with the end result. I have been going to Tricia, Scott or Becca, for over 10 years, they are absolutely the best, my hair always looks fantastic and I get a lot of compliments on it.
