There were a few hairs on the top that wouldn't pull and I told her it was okay and that we could just stop. When I got home, I noticed so much hair in other areas, I have at least 20% of my hair still left over and honestly I'm pretty upset that I even paid for this service because I've had brazilian waxes in the past and I've ALWAYS left with no hair leftover. I have NEVER cried after a wax appointment from disappointment until last night, I only got this wax because I'm going on vacation for my birthday in literally the next 24 hours and I knew I was gonna get in the pool at my hotel but had I known I would be leaving like this, I would've just shaved and saved my money. Again, she was a very nice girl but it looks like i'm ready for a 3-4 weeks touch-up and not like i just got a FRESH wax. I can't even come by to get a touch-up because I have work all day today and then I have to get my nails done after. Is there any way I can get a refund or at least a partial refund?

They're doing a great job with COVID protocols. You wait outside or in your car until called to come in, so that you're the only one in the main area during check in and check out. You have your temp taken and asked to sanitize your hands (or wash at the sink) before getting started. It's too soon to really report on overall changes to my skin's conditions, but my facial was thorough and relaxing, and my skin was positively glowing when I left. I don't say that lightly. Allison made a lot of great recommendations, and I picked up a hydrating serum there based on her recommendations. It's a calm, relaxing atmosphere and I feel comfortable and confident there. My first visit was better than the second but I still love this place and highly recommend it. My first visit was better as I purchase a complete spa package with a massage, make up application, light refreshments, etc. It was amazing!!! For today's visit I just chose a 30 minute deep tissue massage. I was slightly disappointed as I was actually booked for an hour massage (I know, I shouldn't be complaining!) but it was more than I had planned to spend and therefore I was not prepared with a better tip for my massage therapist. I wish I was aware of that prior to going into the session. The receptionist was not very friendly and spoke softly so she was hard to understand. It may have been her first day because she was working with another person, but I feel that she could have verified what my appointment was so that I could have confirmed prior to me getting the hour massage and thereby having to pay for the full service. Nevertheless, I was still satisfied with my service. I had Linda as my massage therapist. Initially I was worried because I'm about 5'10" and she is about 5' and I was wondering if she would be able to use enough pressure but she did not disappoint!!! Lol she was awesome and I feel so great! I would recommend her for sure. Overall Kona Oasis is a beautiful spa and I would love to come back for more services. If you're looking to treat yourself, be sure to get a full package!!
