I've been coming here for almost a year now. Megan did my hair for my wedding as well as colored it a few times up until the wedding. I was so nervous about coming to a new salon, but seeing as how I previously knew Megan I knew she would do really great work. The first time I came to her I told her I wanted to be blonde. Really blonde. I told her I wasn't afraid to take a few risks with my color and wanted her to feel comfortable doing whatever she thought would look good. Boy did she deliver! She wasn't afraid to really go for it on the blonde and take exactly what I wanted and run with it. I am so pleased with all my times I have been here and was even really in love with my updo for my wedding day. She has always listened to what j would like to do and going is always a good time! Also the lobby renovation is a great new addition to the place! read more

I was on the search for a new stylist as I am new to the area. I was recommended Blondies but unfortunately did not have a good experience. I was set up with Natalie and we started discussing details of what I was looking for. When I asked her for her experience she gave me a vague answer and didn't tell me she only had 6 months of experience until I specifically asked her. I then asked her to send me photos of other blonde dye jobs she had done in the past to confirm she could do hair similar to what I was looking for. After asking this she immediately shut me down and said that it seems like I'm not sure of her skills and that no other stylist could take me either. To me this came off as though she had never done hair similar to what I was looking for and that's why she couldn't provide me with pictures. The questions I asked were standard for any client looking for a new stylist and I wish she had responded appropriately and was just honest with me. I am always willing to give a new stylist a chance as long as they communicate their capabilities clearly with me. read more

The best hair salon i have ever been to. I visited February 2025 and had Barri-Ashlyn as my hair dresser. She was so kind and my hair turned out great. I got a cut and balayage. It looks so natural and blended. Exactly what i wanted! She styled it well and i felt great walking out of the salon. The salon is modern and decorated cute, it's a large space. read more

in my first trip by recommendation to this salon, I met with Kinsley for a simple extension move up, wash and trim. Within 7 days both sides of my extensions were hanging down over my ears. Keep in mind these are meant to last several months. I messaged her and went back in a few days later to have repaired. This time it only lasted 4 days before a 2-3 inch section came loose and was hanging down on my side sticking out from my hair. This time I asked for a manager, to which Kinsley said there wasnt one(receptionist said otherwise and took a message for Tanya, the mgr to call me---she never did).Kinsley said she could get another girl to assist her to fix it but would charge me. Keep in mind I already spent over $150.00. And why should she need an assist ..if shes incapable of doing the job correctly she should not do it. Long story short, they dont stand behind their work ,return calls . I had to spend another 300.00 to redo it, since no one would "fix" their shoddy work. Dont even deserve a 1. read more

On September 30th I had an appointment at 5:45p with Sarra Neshan. I showed her a collar bone length haircut with minimal layers. She said she would put longer layers in, so that it wasn't a blunt cut. I wanted a money piece with ombré style highlights. While she was slamming the highlights on I noticed they started at my roots. I decided to trust the process. Then I noticed the money pieces did not start at my roots. The whole appointment felt rushed. So rushed that while she was toning the toner fell in my eye. She apologized & said " oh it'll be okay, it just burns for a little bit." She curled my hair sloppily but didn't show me my hair while it was straight. (Curled & straightened hair makes color look completely different). I leave the salon happy with my hair in the moment. Fast forward 2 weeks later. I wash and straighten my hair for the first time since my appointment. The highlights are very chunky. The only slight ombré highlights I got were the money pieces which look ridiculous ombré. The back of my hair is an inch longer then the front. Pieces are longer like she missed them while cutting. A lot of striping through the highlights & on the right side of my front money piece. I reached out to her & she said she didn't know how that happened & I asked her to fix it. She did agree to fix it but after a few hours of thinking, I decided I didn't feel comfortable with her fixing my hair. I asked for a refund so that I could have it fixed. This is where she told me the salon as a whole does not give refunds, therefore, she can not give me a refund. (I was never told in advance that she did not give refunds in any circumstance) I wouldn't have went to her as I think that's a red flag. I call the salon after messaging her. I spoke with the gentleman who said he was the salon manager. He raved about her. He said maybe we should speak over the phone because messaging can come off a way that you don't intend as Sarra came off very passive aggressive. So I thought maybe she was offended that I chose to not have her fix it to avoid any worsening issues. I messaged her and asked if we could have a phone conversation & that if my reaction offended her I was sorry. She told me that she didn't seem like a fit for me & no longer was willing to fix it or give any refund. It's been a nightmare to say the least. No help from anybody. Although, I think she may be a great stylist to some. I however would never recommend her to anybody to avoid the amount of money you'll spend to fix the issue. read more

Ask for Ashleigh! She was recommended to me by a friend and always does an excellent job cutting my hair. She will also work hard to schedule you into her busy schedule. Highly recommend her to anyone needing a new stylist! read more

My children & I hadn't had our hair cut/colored in months due to bad experiences at another salon. We walked in & Megan was able to fix both my daughters hair that day. I made a later appointment with her. I showed her several styles & color I want to achieve. She gave me a great cut & color. I can finally wear my hair down again with confidence & my daughters hair looks the healthiest it has in years. I suggest Megan for sure! As for the decor inside it's very comfortable & relaxing modern vibe. They have parking right beside the building. The sign for the building is hard to see & my first visit it was difficult for us to find the place. Walk ins are welcome but I would recommend making an appointment. read more

I wish I wasn't writing this and I have never wrote a bad review before. A specific girl legitimately ruined my hair and I have been dealing with the repercussions for months now. She thinned it without my permission and now it has a completely different waves and is extremely knotted. So this was not just she dyed my hair and I could have someone else fix it... she literally thinned half of my hair onto the group in all the wrong places so now it looks like I have a million flyaway/ breakage read more

Billy Keith, you should be ashamed to call yourself a stylist or a colorist. And you are rude. I asked for a medium ash brown all over color with a few light ash brown highlights. You put a very dark brown color on my roots only and added yellow stripes all over the top and front part of my hair. I asked for you to cut my hair in the same style that I had. You didn't even check to see how it had been previously cut you just lobed off a bunch of hair. And if that wasn't enough, I paid you for the mess you made of my hair! read more

I heard amazing things about victoria so I went to her for a color melt I have dark hair so I know it's a process but I went to her three times and my hair looked horrible after 3 times I was still orange and she didn't move up my color melt any like I asked I have went all the way blonde in 3 appointment before I was extremely disappointed I will never be back when I went to get my hair fixed the lady was shocked with I told her who had been doing my hair and she told me that none of the bottom of my hair had any color on it. This lady reached what I wanted In the first visit. I will not return back to blondies read more

I spent one hundred and fifty dollars(150) on color that turned my hair it's natural color. I was going for black roots and grey. The first time it was colored after I went home and washed it the next day all of the color washed out do,I went back to have it fixed properly and because asst that point my hair was basically brown again when she out more grey color on it my hair turned an ash color. I paid allot of money for basically nothing!! I went on vacation to Palm springs California and had to literally pay another two hundred and fifty dollars(260) to have my hair completely redone all over which took another five hours. So now because of the shit job that the girl from Blondies did, I'm in out of pocket four hundred and ten dollars (410), thirteen hours and basically had to have some stranger inn California fix my hair. I do NOT recommend Blondies! If you absolutely have to go too them for color do your research. Missy Langston knows her stuff. I didn't find that out until after the fact but had I gotten her to do night hair this techie would be complete opposite. I hope this review was helpful read more

This post is about Dawn. I came in over a week ago about 45 minutes before they closed because I saw thier signage out front of the road. The receptionist wasn't there. I waited for about 30 minutes and 3 people came in looked at me and walked out. Not one person acknowledged me. Dawn came out to mess around with the table in the waiting room and after a couple of minutes I asked her if somebody could help me because I felt ignored and I was trying to just get a consult. She didn't apologize or seem concerned about my initial impression of this place. She then brought me over talked about my hair and made an appointment. She also told me to text her what I was thinking for my hair so I did. She never responded. Time came to confirm the appointment and I tried calling her and she ignored my call. I waited the day still not getting a response and I texted her letting her know that my attempts to reach her were proving unsuccessful. So she immediately replied I'm with a client and will respond as soon as I can. Finally end of business day comes, I call the receptionist tell her about my experience and says she'll have dawn give me a call. I never got a call. I would think if I'm forking over $250 to somebody as a new client that I would be treated better than this. But I'm not and my initial impression of this place is they can't be bothered. The only person I liked was the receptionist. Would not recommend this place at all. read more

I had my hair done here over the summer and was completely disappointed. The stylist didn't listen to a thing I said I wanted. I told her no blonde whatsoever and she dyed me Lady GaGa blonde, plus she left me under the heater 10 minutes past the time needed. My hair was absolutely fried! Plus, the cut looked like she just chopped it off from being in a ponytail; it was jagged and uneven all over. My recommendation? Stay away from here unless you personally know a stylist. read more

I have only been to this salon once so far and let me say... best salon experience I've ever had! I am from out of town but the drive is certainly worth it. Kaylyn gave me exactly what I asked for! From previous experiences, I understand that my hair does not lift easily and it would take more than one session to be where I wanted. Well, the first process turned out to be beautiful! My experience was so good that I already have another appointment set! Not only is Kaylyn a joy to get my hair done by, the other stylists carried on conversations with me and were very welcoming. Friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere, reasonable pricing, and beautiful results! I will gladly continue to drive an hour and a half to get my hair done by Kaylyn every time. Blondies is great! read more

Worst experience in my entire life. The stylist Carlie Shiflet ruined my hair and broke it completely off a huge chunk in the back, now I have to cut all my hair off. I confronted her as soon as it was pointed out to me because she only showed me the front of my hair and not the back then rushed me out the door, now I know why. She refused to accept responsibility or accountability and basically said it must have been something I did which is almost laughable since I literally haven't gone anywhere or done anything since the quarantine to even have to style my hair. She ran a flat iron through my hair last and I think she didn't bother to look at the setting and broke it off that's why she never showed me the back of my hair and got rid of me as fast as possible. It has taken me over 5 years to grow my hair out this length now I have to chop it all off. I am severely depressed and can't stop crying. read more

They have no idea what they are doing with naturally curly hair. If youve got curls this is NOT the place for you. The "stylist" did a color (which was fine) but then came the cut.. and she cut.me.bangs. I didnt ask for them. I asked for a trim, she took that to mean bangs? Before I had time to tell her the length that I wanted she chopped the front off right at my cheek bones - anyone who was a good stylist would know not to do that because when the curly hair dries itll shorten up. I let her style it and try to make it look right but by then it was too late. I was so upset that I paid with a check (with no tip) and left ... crying the whole way home!! I called back to talk to the manager later that day after I had calmed down. The girl who answered told me that the manager wasnt in so she would take the message and have them call back. Well I did NOT get a call back so I called again. This time talking to the manager, who said he was in the salon the whole day, never left, and never got a message about me! Im not assuming she lied but... The manager tried to resolve it by telling me I could come in again (again???!) and have the girl wash and style my hair for free. That was as good as he was going to do. I wanted to my money back but he wouldnt. Why on earth I would want this lady any where near my hair again?! I said no thank you. Left it at that. The only time in my 29 years that Ive had a truly bad hair cut! At least it grew back and ended up being fine but I did want to at least warn those other curly haired gals. Super shady business, there are plenty of other salons in Anderson so I would stay away from this one! read more

Very unprofessional. Who is in charge? The stylist missed one appt, rescheduled then made client wait an hour. During the haircut, left client waiting while she took care of another person. Who does this? Your staff needs to be professionally trained to the same standard. Not acceptable! read more

If you want a great color & cut ask for Tammy. Had my hair cut at a large chain by Kohl's and my nearly waist length hair was not layered, it was butchered. Tammy fixed my bad hair cut and also gave my hair a beautiful color & highlights. She took her time with me and we formulated a plan to grow my hair out and get the color to where I want it without over processing my hair. read more

I've gone to blondies a few times and have gotten good cuts. I always tell the stylist my hair is extremely thick and straight cuts don't work. The ends are puffy and it's needs thinned and layered. I asked this time to keep the same style, to just do a trim. Well it's mostly a straight cut around and VERY choppy. There are just chunky ends everywhere and I even had someone comment on it if I cut it myself. It's slightly angled in the back and comes to a perfect point in the back which is not pretty at all. The ends are straight which makes them very thick and hard to brush. Not even close to what my hair style was before. I've put it up everyday because it's desperatly needs fixed. For the price, it wasn't worth it because now I have to pay someone else to add layers or thin it and do something about the crazy choppy ends. So if you have thick hair, I would specifically ask for someone with experience in cutting thick hair because I have had good cuts there before. read more

While the staff is super nice... I have been to two different girls for highlights and lowlights. Neither of them could get the gold out of my hair. Of the four times I went... The color literally washed out of my hair after one shampoo. I use redken color safe shampoo too..... It's like they use semi permanent and it's not cheap to get my hair done either. They are cheaper than having it done in Greenville but it doesn't last. They also do after pictures and let me just tell you that the picture the girl put on Instagram was not how my hair looked in person. I wouldn't recommend this place, sorry. read more

What a treasure you will discover in Rae at Blondies! I decided to do something for a friend from a distance and so lucky to have found Rae. She was able to do this at a distance for me as I am out of state. Horrible!! My "stylist" was Rae!! She fried my hair like French fries...I went home in hopes it would look different under our lighting it didn't! My hair broke over the last 2 months...I reluctantly decided just here in the last week or so to have her cut some of the damaged pieces out! I know when I initially got my hair done at Blondies my hair wasn't the only thing that was getting fried! So the week of June 11th, I sent her a text in hopes she was able to cut my hair she told me she didn't have any availability( I understand this happens), but she texted me early part of last week and said she was available on Friday at 11:00 a.m., June 22nd.. I said "great!" When I arrived Rae wasn't there the guy at the desk called her and he gave me the phone and she preceded to tell ME that she never set an appointment for Friday, that I misunderstood!!! She said, "I told you next Friday!!" I hung up on her. Rae hadn't even realized our whole conversation was in text!! I showed the person at the desk and he of course was apologetic but it wasn't enough. I did appreciate his response...needless to say she (Rae), sent me another text and of course lied about being at the hospital all night with her stepdad but Rae had forgotten she told me her "SAD" story back in February!!! Don't GO to this trailer park salon if you can afford choices... read more

I went for a full head of highlights and left looking exactly how I walked into the salon. Since I had paid a large sum of money for color, I wanted to be satisfied with my hair. I consulted my stylist and made another appointment to add more blonde into my hair. After visit #2, I walked out looking with brassy, yellow, chunky, single dimension highlights in the front of my hair. I was mortified by my literally yellow hair, and wore a hat the next two days. My stylist did not listen to me, did not ask where my part was, and seemed to be very preoccupied with other issues she was having. If she wanted to cancel my appointment due to other issues she was having, she should have let me know before making me wait 40 minutes in the front and then destroying my hair. I had to go to another salon to get my color corrected. 3 visits and $220 later, I finally have the color I wanted, no thanks to Blondies. Do not go here if you want to walk out being satisfied and happy with your hair color. read more
