This is the only Blokker I've seen, but it reminds me of a JCPenney or Sears in the 80s. The place is kind of packed with things, it's a little run down, the staff is maybe not so motivated, but they have essential household items like scales and buckets and sort of tacky plates and glasses and things. Their main advantage seems to be their low prices, but the disadvantage is that the quality is not the best.
I am most impressed that they seem to always have some Hello Kitty DVD or videotape in stock. That's a very unique product that is hard to find. And if you want some chintzy football-themed hospitality paraphernalia, like a snack dish that looks like a football field with dip compartments where the two goals are, then this is the place to go. read more
