I had walked by this shop so many times and ironically, on my first trip to Amsterdam I stayed two doors down from it and never noticed it. I mentioned this to the owner and he said, which I agree, that part of the charm of Amsterdam is there are so many things here that you are constantly stumbling upon amazing shops and more every time you walk down the street. He couldn't be more right. The shop itself is so unique. I knew immediately that I would love it here. The items were cool and not like anything else I'd find while shopping. It's definitely not a tourist shop; it's not a t-shirt or postcard sort of place, but it features really cool home decor items from suspended butterflies to really cool metal displays. I knew immediately I'd find so many things I'd love and couldn't bring back to the states with me because I'd have no room and I was right, but I did find some cool metal keys to bring with me to decorate in my living room. I asked the owner if they had a story to them and he replied, "everything has a story" and that was good enough for me.

Such an amazing store! Definitely one of my favorite in Amsterdam. Exquisite pieces of decor, for sure! They have very "weird" pieces too, and simpler ones. For those who call themselves collectors, you might find something here for you. The displays are carefully curated so you should look carefully to appreciate everything!

And it was pretty and cool! The shop isn't big but sells many love things! Home decorations (WHICH I LOVE), beautiful jewellery, jam (really), flowers and art. All kinds of lovely things. The shop has this very nature inspired theme I guess. Also, like many concept stores, you can also have a drink and a bit here. There is a table in the back where you can sit and relax or work. So, this street is getting better and better :) This shop is a must-visit if your in the area. It isn't cheap but they sell many lovely things worth the money.

The store can be compared to MaisonNL based on the goods and image. So if you love MaisonNL you will definitely love Anna + Nina. Anna+Nina is more broad in its jewelery collection compared to their home accessoires collection, which is also very very very nice. Anna+Nina sells the most cute earrings, rings, necklaces in plated gold or silver. They also sell pillows, wallets, clutches, candle holders, mirrors, clothes like sweaters and robes from different exclusive brands and go on. My favorite shop to buy birthday gifts, fair prices for the quality. Love their posters from Hotel Magique. It's a shame if you've never visited this store before, you should take a look. Either in the Gerard Doustreet (Pijp) or the Kloveniersburgwal store in the Centre. Both the same great collection and experience. :D

Furniture is modern yet vintage but far from affordable. The cafe atmosphere is charming and a lot of the furniture you sit and eat on is also sold through the store. I only had a bowl of broccoli soup here. The menu looked nice and the sandwiches looked yummy. Maybe I should have had a sandwich because my soup was just a-ok. Not very flavorful and I thought poorly matched with arugula as a topping. Over all everything about the store is just ok. No wow factor anywhere for me. Although the sales staff seemed quite helpful from what I observed. This place is pleasant enough for lunch or a drink.

They offer a en extension selection of coffee and tea. Although, to be fair, the fresh mint was basically mint in hot water. I asked for green tea to be added, because it's just ridiculous for that price. And if you're in to design furniture you can have a look at their shop. This coffee house is close enough by Leidse plein to walk there. Definitely a spot I would take visitors too to cool down after a day in the city if we are in the neighbourhood, but to travel across Amsterdam especially for this.
