They consistently filed things late, took months to return reports, and were hard to get in touch with. On top of everything, they claimed that they "forgot" to charge us for services rendered over a year ago and tacked on over a thousand dollars to our bill. But don't worry, they said if we paid them in a hurry that they would give us a discount. This is a very shady business, would.not reccomend to my worst enemy.

This agent was not communicative to say the least, and it was difficult to get any information or assistance with our policy. When our policy came up for renewal recently, it was double the cost it was this time last year. After speaking to the new agent for an hour on the phone, they were unable to explain why the cost was so much higher but offered a few deductions to bring the cost down about $200. I called Heather out of the blue, to see if she could help me understand what was going on. Within 5 minutes, she found several deductions that hadn't been applied, which immediately brought the cost down about $2,000. When I asked if we could move our account to her agency, she said that she could do the work, but the other agent would still get paid, due to Allstate's agent policy. We left Allstate for another provider. Heather said that once we've been gone for a year, we can come back to Allstate and choose our own agent. We will be back in a year, and we'll be working with Heather. Thanks, Heather, for being a sane voice in a confusing industry.
