Dasia Merritt took $ 1,600.00 from me for no other reason than that she could; she did nothing to earn it. In error, I trusted her from our initial 'con'-versation, and signed her "non-refundable" commitment. My bad. raised a significant concern about However, she had told me her hourly fee, and then informed me that the initial consultation would be less. The 'consultation' was indeed worth-less, but I wasn't expecting much for an initial 'meet n greet'. However, she then charged me her going rate, which was over $350.00 for that initial one-hour 'meet and greet', something most in her profession don't charge for. That big red flag raised a significant concern about Dasia Merritt. So I decided I could not work with her and kindly asked for a refund of the money I had paid her upfront 'in good faith'. Any person of integrity would refund for work not performed, unless they are desperate or unconscionable. She refused. So I wrote a one-star review on Google. Then she and her sidekick said, "This isn't worth the time," and she would refund. But she did not, and then she got that review removed. Not worth the time? $1600.00 is good money for doing nothing. I'm here again to warn you. You cannot trust all of the reviews. Dasia Merritt is unscrupulous and amoral.

PLEASE READ BEFORE WORKING WITH HER…read more I normally don't write reviews but the way she has treated me is probably the worse I've been treated in a long time. I hired Dasia to file my bankruptcy because my son had open heart surgery and we had an extreme amount of medical bills. She had explained that this was the best option for me in my current situation. I hired her immediately after our consultation and she did my paperwork. However, she filed in the WRONG district which no one caught until my discharge hearing. This filing showed up on my credit report as two, one for the incorrect filing she did and then for the correct court. I let her know and months pasted and it never fell off. I contacted her she just gave me paperwork for me to do my own disputes and told her to let her know even though I had already tried on my own. Months later i tried to contact her, her professional name@website.com email doesn't work anymore, so I had to contact her on facebook because all her previous forms of contact didn't work. Her fake assistant told me to schedule, I scheduled then 5 mins before they told me she couldn't do the time (i already blocked time off from work) okay that fine. She stated I could either have a full refund or have her work on it. I said I don't need the refund I truly want this off my credit. She said she'd work on. a few scheduled meetings that she constantly changed later just for her to tell me she didn't work on it. I still gave her time because I understand life happens. Then, months go by nothing happened so I scheduled a meeting which I believe she rescheduled again and then the next i did miss by mistake (life happens). she emailed me to contact this fake lady who does credit report who i never talked to never seen never did anything only got one email. I had schedule numerous meetings and sent emails which had gone ignored and I said I'd just like the refund firmly. Of course she called me. You can tell when she got on the phone she was irritated and if you've worked with her she put on that fake professional voice that you can tell with tone she doesn't care. I tried to explain to her that I also run a business and how she handled it was completely wrong and that she should view this experience as a lesson. I'm not upset about the mistake I'm upset at how she handled since this is my credit. She eventually hung up because she couldn't take the heat so I have now decided to get public. She was supposed to refund me something but never did and because she didn't I've decided to go public. Oh and she blocked me which I will also be reviewing through another page so no worries! I truly feel a refund would solve this and she would never have to hear from me or even a removal of reviews but her nasty attitude is something she needs to work on. Trust me karma will get her messing with people credit and she clearly doesn't know what she's doing.
