    So, I would honestly give them a 5 except one thing. They asked for proof of insurance from every individual vendor and performer. It was a scramble. Other than that, the venue itself fit the theme of my event very well. I did a Dia De Los Muertos event and after the decorations went up the whole place felt like Mexico. I guess it's the mix of the wood and outdoor vibe in the back bar area. I will also though that they didn't have air conditioning in the back space where the bar was and that is also where I had VIP. So, my dancers were HOT literally and figuratively. But it looked great. I hope they get the a/c back there before next summer. I will probably use them again for something or other. The restrooms were clean. The lighting was perfect for us. They had a girl there all night if we needed anything and she very quiet and very sweet. I didn't actually have any problems at that venue. So, I was happy. Another thing I will say is that they should probably get lighting for the sign "BLOC" because a lot of people said it was hard to find.     My husband and I were blending cultures for our wedding so we needed a lot of flexibility with space and vendors. BLOC was the perfect fit and so incredible to work with. Their space and beautiful rentals make decor so easy and Albina was amazing as our day-of coordinator. Can't recommend them enough!!

    We got married at Bloc this past September! We fell in love with the venue as soon as we saw it! While the venue it's self is BEAUTIFUL, there are some holes in the running of venue. Some one the holes we experienced are: We were not made aware of the security deposit and vendor insurance until 1 week before the wedding. We were never given access to the seating software they use. Thank god our planners had previously done a wedding here before and let us know. On the day of our rehearsal (the night before our wedding), we scheduled a rehearsal weeks in advance. When we showed up, another party was rehearsing and they told us that they didn't have us on the schedule. Thankfully my planner had the confrontation email! The tables were already set when we got to the venue to rehearse. The napkin color was wrong and when our planner told the lady setting them up, she was rude about it. Not to mention we had to ask them to wash some of our plates because they were dirty. This venue allows you to bring in your own vendors which is great! Part of the contract is that your vendors have to clean up after themselves (which was also fine). BUT where it went sideways was this.. we rented all of the plates from BLOC, making them our vendor. When it came time to clean up, they told us that they were going to charge us 200 for a cleaning fee because our catering used the plates, they are now the vendors which made them responsible for cleaning the plates. So people from our wedding stayed to help clean plates. We rented all table wear from BLOC, so it didn't really make a lot of sense. Had we known we would have asked our caterer to stay and clean plates to save ourselves money and our guests time. They also gave us the wrong arch for our ceremony, we paid for the empty black window frames but got the circular arch. Overall this place is a gem but there is definitely some lack of accountability and communication. Great concept, poor customer care.

    We threw a baby shower for our son & his wife this past weekend & this venue was perfect! Everything was amazing & turned out beautiful. The Bloc staff was very accommodating & Albina helped us throughout the whole process. Thank you so much & we appreciate your team.

It was everything we imagined, all the details we put into the wedding came to life and it all went well together we loved the vibe bloc venue had! they made sure everything was perfect and the timeline we had after the room flip was just on time!     About time to leave a review for this place. BLOC Venue is amazing! I've held a Thanksgiving Party and three other birthday parties and every time the owner Lilly went above and beyond to make us happy! BLOC is conveniently located in Roseville about two blocks from Cirby Way & Riverside Ave. The venue is very beautiful and nicely decorated with lighting throughout. They have two separate lounges one in the front for families, moms or brides and one in the back for hanging out. The back lounge with the huge Glass Garage Doors is my favorite. It has couches and just nicely decorated with small tables and a few chairs. I also have to mention that their parking lot is huge and very easily to get in and out. I highly recommend BLOC Venue and if you're in search for a Wedding place or just having a party this is IT! Definitely worth at least checking them out. Location 5 Stars Service 5 Stars

    This venue was STUNNING. I still cant believe my husband and I got married here! Every part of the space was gorgeous. From the bricks & beams, to the beautiful lounge area, the bridal suite, everything was flawless! You could photograph anywhere and it would be aesthetically pleasing. We honestly couldn't have picked a better venue. What we loved most was the open vendor policy. It allowed my husband and I to establish a perfect list of vendors who understood our vision. The vendors were able to make our dream wedding into reality at the perfect venue. Leela and her team were so sweet and kind to work with as well. Planning a wedding amidst a pandemic was not easy, however working with her and her team was easy! We are so thankful for everything Leela and her team have done for us. They assisted with the ceremony to reception room flip which turned out AMAZING. We also rented all our items from the Bloc and the end result was sooooo dreamy! Overall we are so happy we got to gather here with all our friends and family to celebrate our big day. It was truly a night to remember. I highly recommend having your next event here!

    We had our wedding here in June of 2021 and it was amazing! We were a COVID couple that was supposed to get married in June 2020 and that obviously did not happen...after we decided to push it back a year, we wanted to go with a venue that we really wanted and we chose BLOC. From the get go, the communication that I had with Leela was quick to respond and answer my 103940 questions, which was very much appreciated. I appreciate the design days that they hold so you can do your walk through and see how things will look. The day of came and although we ran into some bumps (not the BLOC's fault), the staff at the BLOC were happy to help and stepped in with no questions asked. Everything was perfect and the lighting and BLOC is amazing! I would love to go to another wedding there and be the guest this time :)

    It's hard to pick a place to start for this review because the experience we had with Leela and her team was so incredible. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was crazy, but throughout the entire process, Leela was there planning, creating backup plans, and making us feel so at peace. She fought for us and our wedding, and that's something that is so priceless and meaningful. The Bloc team created a whole intimate wedding package and it truly blew me and my now husband away! They truly got THE VERY BEST vendors, coordinated it all, thought of every single detail, took in all our thoughts and desires, made our dreams come true AND THEN took it up 5000 notches. I know they worked so hard to make our wedding happen. The day was so perfect and seriously better than we could have ever dreamed. I really appreciated how Leela dealt with vendors and planned. She fought for fairness and was honest and clear with pricing and helped us determine what was a good choice! Their communication was amazing. They were so reachable for questions, Leela got excited with things with us which made the whole process so fun. Chantal did a brilliant job with the detailed timeline, really making us feel at ease and ready for our special day. The venue itself is so beautiful. Every room is designed so well, perfect places for photos. We were so proud to get married here and can't wait to see the photos!! And the way they decorated just elevated the whole space and I was so in love! We really felt like Leela listened to all of our decor dreams and brought them to life. I know they were coordinating many weddings but truly they made it feel like they were just doing ours with their attention to detail, care, way they communicated, and planned. We could write a novel about our amazing experience with this venue, Leela and her team. I could never say thank you well enough to them.     What a year 2020 was! Bloc Venue was one of our first choices for a wedding venue when we got engaged in 2019 and they were with us EVERY STEP OF THE WAY during the pandemic. I loved how much creative freedom we had with this venue, which is why we chose Bloc Venue. Not to mention, Leela and Albina were so wonderful and accommodating throughout all of the changes. I can't thank them enough. They even brought a care package to my home when we had to postpone our original wedding date. We were supposed to get married in June 2020 and had to postpone to October 2020. It was totally worth the wait, and we were still able to have the wedding of our dreams even in the midst of a pandemic. Bloc Venue took care of us throughout the whole process and we were able to have a successful and safe, postponed wedding celebration! #loveisnotcancelled

    Nick and I did our wedding at this venue and it was beautiful! The staff was easy to work with and the wedding came together so well. We did a room flip and I was amazed at how quickly and smoothly everything turned out. I would highly recommend this venue!

    BLOC Venue is the place to have your wedding in the greater Sacramento area. My husband and I recently got married there and the space and the people were great. We chose BLOC because of the cool aesthetics of the venue and the open vendor policy. We planned the wedding ourselves and BLOC helped with coordinating our vendors in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding and they also coordinated everyone on the day of our wedding. Chantal, Leela, and Evelina were great throughout the process. They were very helpful with making sure the layout and setup was just as we wanted. We liked that they were very open and flexible with our interests and they allowed our pup at our wedding. The space itself is amazing. It is a little under whelming when you first drive up and see that it is in an industrial shopping center. Once you get inside, everything makes sense. The variety of textured brick walls, concrete floors, exposed ceiling beams, cool metal chandeliers and support beams, and amazing rental furniture from tables and chairs as well as available lounge furniture. If there were any downsides it would be the following: First, because they are open vendors, it requires more steps and hoops for your vendors to jump through. For example, our bartenders had to have a higher level of certifications than most bartenders have in order to serve at BLOC and we had to get our own venue insurance. This isn't a downside, just something you need to know before choosing this place. Second, cleanup is not included and we were a bit frustrated that even though we hired a cleanup crew through the venue, this was not communicated to our day of coordinator and we were told we needed to empty the garbage and clear all the tables ourselves (husband and I while we were still in our tux and gown). The mistake was realized about 10 minutes later, and we were offered a partial refund and apology. This remedied the issue, just be on top of what you do and don't have to do under the contract. Overall the beauty of the venue and the ability to plan a wedding that was 100% our style with no restrictions makes this venue a must use.

    Horrible service. Disrespectful owner. Leela is very rude and has no respect for her customers. Definitely would not recommend coming here.

We had 35 minutes of play in the space world and then moved over to 35 more minutes at the candy land. Then we moved on to the private party room for 50 minutes. The host would use a siren when it was time to move to the next room and to guide us over.  I'm thoroughly impressed with the way Wacky Tacky handles birthday parties. They clearly know what they're doing. The host took care of everything which took the stress away from me. She set up the room, put my favors and cupcakes out. She served pizza, cupcakes, and used gloves to serve! She even sanitized all the kids' hands before eating. I love how they take cleanliness and good hygiene very seriously. Plates, forks, napkins, cups, utensils, tablecloth, hand sanitizer, were all provided.  Food orders do have to be made in advance, but I was able to add juice boxes and soda while I was there. Pizza came delivered close to the time it was time to move into the party room and was kept in the heated bag, so the pizza was actually still hot when it was time to be served.  Wacky Tacky was highly recommended to me for birthday parties, and I can see why. Definitely recommend to host a birthday party here! It's very organized. They even played a personalized happy birthday song to my son which I thought added such a nice thoughtful touch.  My son loves going here for open play as well. It's a great place for him to run and climb that isn't weather dependent since it's indoors.

We paid $500 for an all-inclusive birthday package, but from start to finish, the staff made it clear that they couldn't have cared less. The entire event was chaotic, uncoordinated, and stressful. There was no assigned party host, only a disengaged food server in the party room who offered little to no communication. I constantly had to track down staff to ask what was happening next and where we should be. When I arrived to set up, I was told I'd have 10-15 minutes to prepare the room. Instead, I had to repeatedly check in to see when it would be ready and was finally given just a few minutes to set everything up. During the party, the staff member assigned to our room showed no initiative or enthusiasm. He didn't communicate the schedule, didn't announce when food or activities were starting, and clearly had no idea who the birthday child was. He simply stood in the corner, quietly handing out pizza with no effort to coordinate or engage with the group. After pizza and cupcakes, we still had about 35 minutes left in our scheduled time. I was then told that too many guests had been allowed into Wacky Tacky, so the kids couldn't play afterward as promised. The children were disappointed and confused. I asked to speak with a manager, but no one ever came. I've since called multiple times to follow up, and not once has a manager called and spoken to me. Several of my guests mentioned they had attended other parties here before and had much better experiences, which only made this event more frustrating. Save your money and go elsewhere, Enchanted or literally any other venue would be a better choice. This was a disorganized, poorly managed experience, and we will not be returning

The table was constantly replenished by Joseph, who also picked up plates and cups and kept the reception area nice and clean. He was an excellent server and very nice. Alan and Lindsay did an excellent job serving our drinks from the bar. The service was great and so was their food.
