I have to get my soda from a soda machine because the RPAC in the basement near the lockers only takes payments from students and facility who are members of the RPAC, but they have huge space for working out, taking fitness classes, and another pool that has 8 lanes (25 yards) that has a movable floor and waterslide area for families. There are several studios offering lots of programming throughout the week The space is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed with a rooftop terrace and a teaching kitchen, where cooking demos and hand-son classes will be offered in the new year. The campus also extends outdoors to include a massive soccer and sports complex. The Well is also home to an integrated medical health and wellness center managed by Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center. The Well project included restoring a stream, Clover Groff Run, which flows through the property and will improve water quality in the Darby Creek Watershed. Day passes are available for residents and non-residents and reasonably priced. Alchemy Café a health-focused restaurant that serves smoothies, wraps, salads, and other wellness-inspired food- is open to the public. The. The cafe doesn't require a membership or day pass to enjoy. ** We have since been back several times and are quite happy with the yoga programming and availability of lap lanes. The Well is a top-notch recreation center and Hilliard should be proud of the efforrts.

I love having the Schiller rec center as an option in lieu of joining a "gym"…read more It's got everything I need: a cardio room with decent treadmills, elliptical machines, and a couple of bikes; a weight room that has recently been restocked with $50,000 worth of new equipment. Lots of circuit training equipment and free weights, and it's big enough that it never really gets crowded whatsoever. Recently I signed up for my first class- a combination of step aerobics, kickboxing, and total body conditioning. Vicki the instructor, is no joke. For $55, I get 3 hours of class per week (1.5 hours Tues and Thurs) for ten weeks. What a great deal. Oh, and it's only $75 to join the rec center for THE WHOLE YEAR. But wait, there's more! Not only does that get you in here, but you can go to ANY rec center in the Columbus parks and rec. So if this place is closed (which it is on Sunday and Monday) you can go check out any of the other centers that may be open. You can visit the parks and rec site to see what each facility has to offer in the way of fitness classes and whatnot. Check it out!

This place is best if you're mostly interested in lifting weights. That being said, there are a number of cardio machines (treadmills, elliptical, bikes, etc) that are available. I've never run into a situation where I haven't been able to snag one of these machines, but there is a limited number compared to the RPAC, so be aware. 2. The ARC has recently become my gym of choice due to its parking situation. It's free! That is, if you know the tricks of the trade - give me a message if you're interested in knowing "the way." This makes it much more convenient for me since I can go at any time rather than just when I'm on campus going to the main RPAC gym. Otherwise, you have to have an OSU pass or pay by the hour. Decidedly less than convenient. And thus the fat lady sang.
