If I could give zero stars.....I would. Blizzard Fence was contracted by out the foreman working on our construction. They were to put up a NEW fence on the side of our house, and use our existing gate door. They used all USED panels of PVC and thought we wouldn't notice. It was scratched up, dirty and clearly taken from Another job or dumpster. They decided to flip our door around and drill new holes in and just leave it there like we wouldn't notice the old holes. They didn't pour cement in it so you legit could shake the fence around like crazy. They also poured all of the dirt they had to dig out of ground all over my next door neighbors grass which i had to clean up along with my contractor instead of just putting it in a pile on our blacktop for an easier cleanup. Lastly they have ruined our blacktop and pavers. The cement they did pour was all over the base and looks horrendous. My husband had him come back Recently to see what he can do about the mess on our pavers and the owner was a nasty, mean man. Our foreman stood there listening and saw my husband did not raise his voice once and was trying to have a civil talk with him considering he got paid and it was a nightmare job from start to finish and the owner threw his hands up in the air, refused to help and stomped off to his truck like a child. There are many more Fence companies out there....trust me, do NOT use this one. There's a reason you can't leave reviews elsewhere for them. I'm not one to write bad reviews even when I have a bad experience.....but I need to warn people of this horrible company. read more

Our experience was 5 star. About 2 years ago we had damage to our cyclone fence from a storm. We have 2 dogs so this created quite a problem for us. Tony, the owner was more than responsive and arrange to come to our home within a day. The work was completed quickly, cleanly, with the workers being more than polite and professional. I wrote this review because I saw some negative ones on Yelp, which are so contrary to our experience. We know others who have used Blizzard and have been equally pleased. We can be difficult to please but I don't have anything but compliments for Blizzard Fence. read more

2 stars represents the work completed, although I paid the full contracted price. I hired Blizzard to replace the 2 railings around a loading dock. The quotation was made via emails and photos sent to Blizzard with detailed descriptions of the job, including pictures of each of the 2 railings. Blizzard repaired (note: not replaced) one railing. Due to the distance of the property and timing, I decided to trust them (mistake) and paid them without inspecting the job. When I eventually got to see the job and found that they only completed one railing, I contacted Blizzard. They then claimed that that is all they agreed to complete and would charge me a reduced fee to complete the job. Their own invoice states "around". Does "around" mean 1 side or multiple sides? Guess what their definition is. After making it clear that I had documented evidence to prove that they agreed to complete both railings for the agreed price, they still insisted on only completing the job for an additional (reduced) fee. After arguing for some time more on the phone, and my insisting that they abide by the contract, the call ended with his stating that I have to take him to court. read more

People, beware of these scumbags!!!! Stay clear! Unreliable, unprofessional bunch of liars! They will promise you anything you want just to get a sale but are unable to deliver shit. Never on schedule, difficult to reach over phone once job starts, work is never supervised or at least checked daily by someone who actually knows something. I don't think they even own a level, all my posts are installed crooked. When asked to correct it, they showed up when no one was in the house, took previously installed fence gates off and took off. Next time I've seen them was several months later in court. Do your self a favor and stay away from them, it's not worth the aggravation and stress they will brig you. read more

I had the most terrible experience with this company. They really screwed me over with my fence that I need to fix with a different company now. For they will never get another dime from me or anyone I know. Come to find out 3 posts are not even into the ground have no cement and not only did my gate door blow off but my fence is leaning for the 2nd time and they charged me an extra $1150 for the 2 visits to "fix the fence" RUN AWAY AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!!!! read more

Product is nice looking, but service is terrible. Here's my saga (Granted, from a few years ago, but seems like not much has changed). Names have been changed to protect the guilty: April 18 Estimate given / contract signed; $$$ Deposit paid. Call back next to schedule installation ~ April 25 Call to schedule installation; Blizzard will call back ~ April 28 Call to schedule installation; Blizzard will call back ~ May 3 Call to schedule installation; Blizzard said they'd call back - I said that was what they said the last two times they called, but they never did. They put me on hold; came back with installation date of May 21. May 16 I called to confirm installation for May 21. Would they be able to give me approximate time; Blizzard confirmed installation for 21st; Time will not be known until cob day before or morning of. May 20 a.m. I called to confirm that weather would not affect installation date. Did they know what time?; Blizzard stated that weather would not affect installation unless it was a downpour and they'd be there 21st, time as yet unknown. May 20 p.m. Blizzard Called to cancel installation. Said my rail was not in today's shipment received from supplier. They would find out what was going on and call back. May 24 noon?? I called Blizzard to follow up re cancellation; Blizzard will call back. May 25 12:30 I called to follow up re new installation date; Salesman picked up. Said it's a problem with weather. I said that would be fine except I called day before to confirm and she said everything was a go, then I got a call canceling. He said problem with weather and equipment provider and they'd get back to me. I said I never get return calls when promised. She came on and said my equipment will be in today's shipment and they'll call to schedule when they have equipment in hand. I asked when I should follow up. She said I'd get a call by Friday. I told her that's fine, but since I have yet to receive a call back when promised, I doubted it - if I could just get a call back saying you don't know it would be better than no call at all. She promised a call by Friday - I stated if I didn't receive a call by Friday I'd be there Saturday expecting to pick up a check returning my deposit. She again promised a call back by Friday. May 25 4:30 She Called; Installation set for Saturday, May 28. I told her I have an appointment in the morning, so she will schedule for afternoon May 28 10:00 Blizzard Called; Cancelled installation - they got the wrong pickets. May 28 11:30 I went there; Talked to receptionist who didn't know what was going on - she was just there to pick up the phones and take messages. She called manager who apologized, said they would give me a credit. Said she'd have them fed ex it if necessary so I would have it next week. June 3 Blizzard (Mgr) Called; Apologized - they received only part of my rail. Would give me a $$$ credit. Wanted to set up install appointment. She was looking at next week. I told her if they couldn't do it on Saturday it would have to wait until the week after (I'm already out two days next week). We set appointment for Thursday. June 13 I called to confirm; Asked if all components were in their possession and checked. Are we on for Thursday? She said they will check components before they come out. I said that's not sufficient -- that was the problem all along -- you wait until the last minute to check and then you cancel. I told her that I would like it checked sooner rather than later, because if I take a day off work Thursday and they call to cancel because they have a problem, they will have a BIGGER problem. She said they would check today. She took my number and said they would call me later today. June 14 Never called me back; All my inventory is in -- everything is good. They'll be there Thursday no earlier than 9:00 Installation finally completed that Thursday. Installer nice and friendly, but when 3/4 of the way done I noticed the spindles were installed incorrectly. He apologized, took it all apart and reinstalled properly. One star is one too many. This company simply should not exist. They are horrible people and yelled at my wife on the phone. Human beings who are trying to make a living should not have to put up with that. All we wanted was a fence, and we paid dear, hard-earned money for that. Sadly, in the end, all we ended up with was a sense of anxiety after the "job" was done (the owner constantly reminded me of the fact that he knew where I lived, and how many children I had), and a fence that lasted a few months. Save yourself a lifetime of angst and do the job yourself. It really is not that hard. All you have to do is look at the crew they happen to pick up that morning. Buy yourself some Tech-Nu and gloves and get to work. You'll be happier, and won't receive threats regarding the life of your family. read more

Two years ago I hired Blizzard Fence to install two tone (tan/white) PVC fence in three quarters of my backyard. There was no problem. I went to work and left them in my yard to install. I came home for lunch that day and everything was going fine. I believe Tony was on the jobsite overseeing the work. This year I had hedges removed from the fourth side of my yard and hired Blizzard to install the remaining quarter. Friday, June 17 was install day after waiting three weeks. The day began with two installers showing up an hour later than the promised time (11:00 when 10:00 was promised). When they started unloading the truck one of them (thankfully) asked me if I wanted a different fence installed. I said "no, why would I do that?" He had me come out to the truck to see the materials they brought. Turns out the wrong fence was loaded on the truck for the job (tan/tan). So back to the yard he went and one of them stayed behind to, I think, dig post holes. When he finally returned with the correct fence, another 45 minutes later, they began work. All seemed fine until they had one more panel to install and the man who lives next door to me came over to the two of them and offered them each a beer! He should NOT have done that! and much to my surprise the installers took the beer opened the bottles and clanked them together with my neighbor!!! I had to ask them to hold off on drinking until after they completed my installation. They recapped the bottles (at least one of them did, the other moved behind my shed with his open beer bottle) and the one gave it back to my neighbor. When installing the final panel, they called me outside to show me that the corner post, which was already there from the previous fence install, was not level and that they were going to install another post next to it!! Who does that??? I said "no, that would look ridiculous." They realized that there was a piece of wood behind my post pushing on it and they were able to finish the install without installing another post (that would have looked terrible). Before I paid them, I noticed that they had opened the gate all the way back, which Tony had said is how the springs get broken. I pointed that out to them and that the gate was not closing on its own as it should and they said no problem they would put in a new spring. They asked me for a flat head screwdriver - which they did not have. I went in the house and got them the screwdriver. After a few minutes there was a knock on my door and they told me they were finished. They showed me how the gate now closes on its own, which it did, however, after they left I looked closer and saw that they had taken the spring out of the bottom hinge and left it lying on the ground! There was NO spring at all in the bottom hinge and that is how it remains. I was totally disappointed with this experience. I admit that I never watch people while they are doing work at my house, but these two I had to watch constantly! The beer was just too much. I called the office to report about the beer and the fact that they were having difficulty with the last panel and asked if a supervisor would come by and check the job and I was told by the woman (Donna, I believe) that, yes, Tony should stop by. She called Tony - who never came to my house and never even called me to speak to me about the entire situation. Instead, he called one of the workers. Tony NEVER spoke to me. They got their money and apparently, that's it. Now I have a spring sitting on the ground where these workers left it when they supposedly fixed my gate - which obviously they did not. To use the word disgusted might be a bit harsh in this situation, but I was upset. I have never experienced anything like this before and I hope I never do again. Bought a cedar fence, had it installed. Guys did a great job. However, after I looked at the fence, they put up a Blizzard Fence sign. I don't want a sign on my fence. I'm not paid by Blizzard to advertise their company. And, I paid a lot of money for a small amount of fence. So they put up the sign and put holes in the wooden posts from the screws. Called and told them I was not happy that I was not asked if they could put up the sign. They said someone would come out the following week to remove and fill the holes with wood putty. Great, on new posts.....They never showed up. I was once again told they would come out and they hadn't forgotten about me. I was also told that in 50 years no one ever complained about them putting up their signs on the fence. So.....does that matter? I was told that Donna in the office would contact me to let me know when someone would come out....that was a week and a half ago...no call. It's been over three weeks since the fence was installed and no one had come to remove the sign. I understand this is what they do, but you should really ask your customers if you can deface the product for which they just paid you a lot of money to install. read more

Had our fence installed in April or may. Still to this day waiting for them to fix the gates!!!. I call and call . but no one shows.. I asked if they are there normal hired by the company workers. They say yes. I say bull!!!! They drank on the job. I called to complain. They say that's the first they ever heard of this.!! again I say bull.!!! owner never showed up to the job like he said.after installed fence. It took them 5 days to return to actually install the gates. I have dogs!! Why did I have to wait 5 days for you to come back and install the gates!! I called again today.
