Mary's Health Foods - Juice #2 of the day

Mary's has been around for years & is locally owned & operated. The current staff members are…read moreknowledgeable, friendly & super helpful. They always take time to answer our questions & educate us on the specific items we're purchasing. They have a solid selection of: Vitamins, Supplements, CBD Oils, Essential Oils, Homeopathic Remedies, Prebiotics, Probiotics, Herbal Teas, etc. Be sure to sign up for the reward program. The small Juice / Soup / Sandwich / Wrap bar (located in the middle of the store) is great! They put an emphasis on Organic and/or Gluten Free fare, which is awesome. The gentleman running/working the bar does a great job! Not your "run of the mill" soups. We got a couple bowls of Knoephla (GF), the other day & it was delicious. I do hope they expand the bar hours, at some point. It closes at 4:00 pm (M-F), but the store stays open until 6:30 pm. The bar also isn't open on Saturdays, which is a bummer. I'm probably just being selfish, but with a high of 9 degrees today, I could really go for a hot bowl of goodness, right about now. :-)

Holy cow - this health foods store in Billings is awesome! I was in town for business and looking…read morefor a good healthy pick me up in the morning and afternoon - look no further than Mary's. They have a smoothie/juice bar as well as some healthy sandwich and wrap options on the menu that I didn't get to try! I had the sunrise juice, which they make fresh to order! It was soooooooooo good, I'll be looking for something like it near where I live, probably forever!!! They got my first juice out to me quickly and when I showed up later in the day he had just closed but told me that he would make me another anyway the store is conveniently located, clean and has great vitamin/supplement/wellness offerings and healthy grocery food options as well. I hope business brings me back to Montana so I can visit again!

Wow! Went to the amazing fireworks last night and I'm so happy I stopped here for food. There were…read moreabout a half dozen food truck options at the venue, but this one had healthy options, and I was trying that up for a change! The truck was clean, the workers were super friendly and were very accommodating of special requests. For the food, I ordered the Independence Day special, and it was the best. The portion was huge, the tastes went perfectly together, and everything was super fresh. I think the local honey added a special touch. Their service was quick and they easily accepted all major credit cards so I didn't have to worry about cash. I wish they would park outside of my hotel for the rest of my trip!

It'll be difficult to come up with many negatives (as in -- none) about this unusual food truck…read more The name gives away its secrets: Berries. At least two different types. In a bowl. With nuts, chia seeds, granola, nut butters, hemp hearts, and a fruit that isn't a berry -- all depending on which of the 4 main menu options sounds good. There's even add-ons available. It's all good. Unless you don't like fruit, and if that's the case, you likely wouldn't be seeking out a food truck with fruit in its name. The bowls are big and heavy and contain a lot of fruit. I think it's a fruit sorbet base or something similar --- whatever it is -- holding everything together. These bowls are served cold and on a hot days, it's like holding a cool breeze. In fact, these bowls might actually taste better than ice cream (I know -- heresy!) If you're getting bored with the usual kind of food truck, Berry Bowl'd will snap you out of that boredom. It isn't out every day, so the anticipation of waiting for its next showing might be frustrating, but it'll be worth the wait. I've tried two of their main offerings: the Local and the Bowlseye. Although both are excellent, I'd have to give the edge to the Local Bowl - maybe because that's the first one I tried, but maybe because it just looked "prettier" with the blueberries. They can make your bowl with gluten, soy, or nut-free granola just in case that might hold you back from trying.them out.
