They have all the huckleberry jams, candies, wine, beer, etc. that you could ever ask for. They sell postcards, patches that depict the state of Montana. They also have rather healthful foods here- granola bars, pancake mixes. The other side of the shop is all musical instruments! They have everything from mandolins to guitars, bass, and even a trumpet! They sell guitar strings, amp wires, capos, anything you need for your musical needs. I think they even had the sheet music to Merle Haggard's "Big City" about getting dropped off in the middle of Montana. The clerk was pleasant, but minded her own business as I poked around and weighed the different huckleberry options. It seems that when things get cold in this town, a hot jam (whether musical or huckleberry) will always spice things up! Parking was a bit challenging, this place is located on the main strip of Red Lodge, so it's only street-side parallel parking. The shop was ADA accessible, but had some narrow aisles.

It's a boutique store, carrying only the most requested things,and with prices that are not too far off from what they would be at a larger store. It reminds me of a convenience store, but with more things and better selection. There are a couple of coolers with frozen items, a display case with pre-made sandwiches for a quick lunch, kitchen staples such as oils and vinegar, spices, tea, coffee, juices, soups, as well as a good-sized selection of office supply items and medications. Perfect for a quick trip where you only need a couple of things and want to save time, Lil Market fills a missing slot in downtown Billings for those who live downtown and don't want to go too far to pick up a missing item or two.

I let them know. I didn't appreciate the unfriendly customer service and it was explained to me that I didn't need to visit their store anymore as I was leaving. At this time, I'm not motivated to go back. This is the first time I've ever seen that Clerk in there.

Well they want .50 just for ice. Most of their people are absolutely rude to everyone. Zip trip doesn't charge foe ice and they ALWAYS have smiles on their faces. This was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic with as yet no available vaccines. Yet this was the only gas station that I remember in which all of the employees were "masked up." I'm speaking only for "Holiday Stationstore #470" at 1212 Mullowney Lane in Billings MT. I cannot speak for the rest of the stores in this chain. I was impressed that this gas station/convenience store seemed to go against the red state red tide anti-masking culture. And of course I always wore a mask when out in public in October 2020. Also, the price for regular gas was only $2.189 per gallon on October 2, 2020. No such luck with that low of a gas price in Washington! Yes, I know. I am sometimes slow at getting around to doing my Yelp reviews.

There's so much stuff packed into this building that you could really get just about anything you need. And then a few things you don't need, too! The employees are knowledgeable and welcoming. I get the feeling that they know everyone in town by name, but are still just as friendly with those us of who are just passing through.
