I wanted to learn how to massage better because my husband has back pain and my massages have been sub-par. I did extensive research to find someone who could provide an a-la-carte massage class without a full certification and there is literally nothing in Orange County aside from Yasuko. I booked a class with her as a Christmas gift to my husband and we had such a great experience! She is very kind and thorough. I feel significantly more equipped. The best part is that even after the class she follows up with tutorials and free videos. It's truly worth the time and money. You could spend twice as much to get one massage at a fancy spa or take her class and give and get great massages for free for the rest of your life... Thanks Yasuko! read more

Yasuko was a wonderful teacher! My partner booked her class as a surprise, and we both loved it! Her calm, professional, and gentle manner made the session feel relaxed and enjoyable. The intentions set and techniques taught resonated deeply with what we were looking for - a foundational set of instructions (with modifications) where we could massage each other with love, without tiring easily! Would highly recommend the class! read more

My husband and I just took the private couples massage class. We picked the popular combo areas to work on with the neck & shoulder/ upper & lower back. We loved everything about it! The pace of the class was awesome. Yasuko gave nice clear instructions. She structured the class so well. The information wasn't too overwhelming. She would teach with one person being demonstrated on by her, then the partner would do the same move. Then you'd switch. She took it step by step with helpful tips and suggestions throughout. All of her instructional visual aids were easy to read, look at, and follow along with. It was so fun! We loved it! read more

My boyfriend and I met Yasuko for a private, 60 minute couples massage class! It was such a wonderful experience; I would not hesitate to recommend her services!!! I am looking forward to meeting her again someday to take another class and/or receive a skilled massage from her. The couples class was very informative. I loved the emphasis on positive energy, effective communication, and the giving nature of massages. Yasuko first explains the technique while you look at a booklet, and then she shows the technique on your partner. Next, you model the same technique onto your partner. Then you & partner switch (giver versus receiver). I love that the methods she shows you are very doable and are designed not to cause tiredness/strain on your own body as the giver. You even receive a full color booklet at the end of your session to help you remember all of the massage techniques! I enjoyed Yasuko's gentle nature and her cute humor. We all ended up laughing a lot and having such a fun time together. read more

Yasuko at Bliss2massage was a wonderful teacher. My wife and I learned several new massage techniques along with the proper breathing techniques. Yasuko also mentions the importance of proper connection on a spiritual level in a comfortable setting. read more

I took this class as a birthday gift - was so happy with how it turned out! Yasuko's passionate about what massage can do for people. Her class is well prepared and easy to remember too read more

My boyfriend and I met Yasuko for a private, one-hour massage class. The class was thorough, efficient, and effective, and Yasuko made the environment comfortable and relaxing. We selected two areas to focus on, Neck & Shoulders and Upper & Lower Back, and Yasuko provided visual aids and demonstration before each partner had the opportunity to practice. We learned several new techniques, all of which were very enjoyable. Personally, I found the most useful part of the class to be learning techniques that allow me to massage more effectively without straining myself. After the class, she allowed us to take the prepared, written materials with visual aids, and sent us links to access her videos online as well so that we can continue to practice at home. I would not hesitate to recommend Yasuko's services, as a masseuse or a teacher, and look forward to seeing her again in the future! read more

My partner and I took a private couples massage class with Yasuko - easily the best money ever spent. Yasuko did an amazing at both explaining and demonstrating simple yet effective techniques, which she demonstrated on us first so that we would knew what it was supposed to feel like, before we then got to practice on each other. She also guided us through as we practiced to ensure our technique looked good. Yasuko made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and she made it very easy to learn from her. One of the best bonuses is that we got materials to take home to remind us on how to perform certain techniques and we've used it at least once a week since. I look forward to taking another class with Yasuko! read more

This is a long over due 5 star review for Yasuko's awesome-ness. A few years back, my boyfriend booked a couples massage class and a 90 min massage for me as a gift. Yasuko is wonderful to be with, her energy is calm and her teaching style is compassionate. This was the first time going to a masseuse that actively advocates the concept of couples adopting massages for each other as a routine in their lifestyle. I didn't think much of it in the beginning but now I understand why it's such a sweet gesture you can offer to your partner. It's relaxation and pleasure that you offer selflessly when you provide a massage to your partner. In that moment, it's about nourishing the other person, acknowledging their hard work and effort for being a good human day by day (this world is demanding!) and every physical effort on your part is a way to express the genuinity of your intentions through actions than words. Since the first class, we've returned for consistently high quality massages. I especially love her current location out in the Orange Circle. I love that area, it really adds to the whole experience. Parking is a breeze, area is quiet, room/office feels very inviting, comfortable, and peaceful - none of that stuffy corporate vibe. I'm always encouraging my family to go in for a massage after long flights from Japan and boyfriend to go in regularly to help manage stress and demands from his ambitious job. read more

My bf and I loved the couple's massage class. It was fun and something different. Prior to this, I hated receiving massages and dreaded giving them. Once class was over, I couldn't wait to go home and try what we learned! Thank you yelpers for sending me this way! Thank you Yasko for providing us with a great experience! read more

My wife and I just took the couples massage class, and LOVED it! I purchased it for my wife as a Christmas gift, thinking it would be a great gift that keeps on giving. We focused on the neck, shoulders, upper and lower back. Yasko did a great job introducing us to the topic of massage and teaching us the proper technique. One of the best parts was learning how to give a massage that didn't leave our fingers tired. I felt that the techniques we learned were 'real' massage therapist techniques (but even better!). It was just 'here's a knot... now let's get rid of it.' It was much more about being in touch with your partner on a physical and emotional level. Highly recommended! read more

Yasko is incredible. My wife and I recently went to a presentation of hers. If you don't know, she teaches couples how to massage each other. At this presentation, she taught 5 moves to massage the neck and shoulders. All I can say is, WOW. Who knew that a little technique can make a HUGE difference. I use these moves almost daily now when my wife needs a little massage, which ironically happens to be often lately (just for the record, I'm not complaining). She is so nice and knowledgeable and really wants you to learn how to do it the correct way. She puts a real emphasis on not injuring yourself when you are giving the massage, which I guess that is a common problem. I had such a great time learning from her and can't wait to learn more from her next time. I had never heard of a class for couples massage before I heard about her, but it was so great! Definitely a great date night idea. read more

Know the expression, "Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats forever!"? Well I have a new one. "Buy a man a massage, he thanks you for a day. Teach a man to massage. YOU thank him forever!" We did a couples massage private class with Yasko on a sunny Friday afternoon in the park and it was superb. She prepares ahead of time and give you a "massage menu"; is patient and calm. It was fun and relaxing. Worth every moment. Good for a special event or no reason at all. read more

Saturday July14th was an interesting night. Some hooligans decided our cul-de-sac would be a great place to ditch the car they stole for a joyride around midnight. They jumped our fence and tried to escape through our backyard, trampled some of our squash plants, and just generally did all they could to make the night as weird as possible. Couple all that with standing around the abandoned truck while the police investigated just in case they needed to take a statement and you have the perfect recipe for frazzled nerves. Thank God I'd made an appointment with Yasko. See, the 15th was my wife's birthday and I thought a teaching session and a full massage would be perfect for her since she'd never gotten a professional massage before. Boy was I right. We started with the teaching session. I was the student. I learned a lot about not only the mechanics of giving a good massage, where to put hands, how to arrange fingers, etc., but also about how to effectively communicate with your partner so that they get the most out of it. Very informative, Yasko is an excellent teacher. Then came the individual session. I can't really speak to Yasko's technique or abilities specifically as I made myself scarce because I knew my curiosity would get the better of me and I'd be constantly asking questions. Not good when you're trying to maintain a relaxing atmosphere. All I can give a review on is the results. My wife started her birthday as a bundle of nerves and ended it content, relaxed, unburdened. Would I recommend Yasko's services? Emphatically yes. If she can calm my wife's nerves after a night like that... read more

Just had a beautiful couple's massage class with Yasko in William Mason park on the edge of the lake. It was idyllic, relaxing, and fun. Yasko comes prepared, with a massage menu chosen out of your own preferences. She's very patient and willing to alter things if you have special requests. read more

Bought a couple's massage class as a Valentine's day gift for my husband and had a great experience. I learned techniques for both sitting and laying positions to more effectively massage while not straining my own back or hands. We practiced communicating openly throughout and learned helpful rules of thumb to remember. At the end, we had a folder of everything we had reviewed as a reference for when we massage each other in the future. Great way to bond with your partner and learn practical tips and techniques to help each other relax--truly a gift that keeps on giving! read more

My husband and I did a Couples Massage private class with Yasko and it was an incredible experience. Firstly, Yasko is an exceptional massage therapist who immediately made us feel comfortable. As a teacher, she was clear and modeled each technique before having my husband try it out (I was receiving the massage- lucky me!). The class was informative and encouraging for both myself and my husband. I enjoyed the pace, as it was detailed but moved along nicely with enough time for my husband to try out each technique and for me to give feedback when needed. I highly recommend this experience for all couples looking for a deeper connection. read more

Wow. The name of the company really explains the experience. I had a private massage with Yasko a few days ago and I was truly transported to a state of bliss. How she manages to apply the same pressure and techniques on each side of the body in such an even manner is incredible. I was very, very sad when it ended, until I realized I could just book another appointment! I rarely treat myself to such treatments, and I'm so glad I chose Yasko for this massage. I think I actually floated out of the Burke Williams Spa! (Which was also very nice...) Whether you go to Yasko for a private session or take one of her courses, you're in very good hands--and yes, pun intended. read more

I subscribed to Yasuko's YouTube channel for a few years and finally decided to make an appointment with her for the couple massage combo as a birthday present to myself. Yasuko is a great teacher: my husband and I learned great massage techniques through her easy-to-follow instructions. After that, we each received 30-minute massage session from her, which was so relaxing. I'd recommend Yasuko's service to all my friends! read more

My partner and I did the couples class and combo. I wish we had just done the class because it was such a unique experience and the 30 minutes wasn't long enough. Yasko is such a loving, gentle soul and she made us comfortable and communicate with each other---things that benefit us at home no matter what we are doing. My partner got the massage and enjoyed it. Hopefully we'll be back. read more

My wife and I attended one of the Couples Massage classes provided by Bliss Squared Massage. We had bought the combo deal which included a 60 minute massage. The couple's massage class was well organized and fun. Yasko made everything very easy and welcoming. It was a great shared experience for me and my wife. Things like this can only make us closer. After that, my wife and I split the 60 minute massage which was amazing. I highly recommend this to all couples who wish to get closer or enhance their physical relationship. read more

Yasko came to our home and gave massages to both my husband and myself. It was very relaxing to not only be in the privacy of our own home, but she also did a wonderful job of creating an overall spa experience. She was thorough, and really took the time to listen and focus on what our aches and injuries were. If you've had a recent injury or need to wind down from a tough day, I highly recommend her therapeutic and relaxing massage services. read more

My boyfriend & I took 4 couples massage classes with Yasko around two years ago and we still regularly use the techniques she taught. She is a wonderful massage therapist & teacher. Yasuko is as thoughtful and attentive an instructor as she is a massage therapist. We booked a Couples Massage Combo and were shown specific techniques for the areas we requested. The side-by-side instructions were thorough and easy to grasp with Yasuko's assistance. Afterwards, we each had a 30-minute massage and left feeling relaxed and eager to practice. I would not hesitate to recommend a Couples Massage session so long as Yasuko is there. read more

Yasuko is an excellent masseuse and teacher. All of her services are at a very reasonable price and is well worth it. I had originally bought a massage lesson and 1hr massage package for my girlfriend for Christmas and we found the lessons very helpful. We continued to use her services as she offered couples massages for valentines day. I am a climber and found that she hit many spots that most people overlook and it was very relaxing; however my gf was not a fan of the other masseuse doing the couples massage with Yasuko. So I decided to surprise my gf with a massage by Yasuko for our anniversary and she loved it! All in all, I would definitely recommend Yasuko as she is a great teacher and great at massaging! read more

Very happy with my couple massage session! Yasko patiently went over the massage areas that we wished to learn, and was able to modify the lesson based on our input and preferences. She has great hands! And just so you won't forget what you learn she provides a color print out of pictures of all the moves to refresh the memory. Remember to bring a pillow! read more

Yasko is a natural teacher, incredibly knowledgeable, generous, and warm. After reading others' stellar Yelp reviews, I thought the couple's massage class would be a fun experience for my partner and I. As soon as we arrived, Yasko put us at ease by walking through what to expect from the class. The time flew by so quickly, as we laughed and learned the many new techniques Yasko taught us. I am particularly grateful that the techniques all focused on good form and using body weight transfer, so giving massages would not be such a strain on my wrist/hand muscles. I can't recommend Bliss Squared enough! read more

Wanted to gift my fiance something unique for his birthday and thought why not get him a massage (because I love them so much hehe). My fiance is not a fan of spas or foo foo fancy places like that so I looked up massage on yelp and found Bliss Squared. Loved the idea that they would come to your house or location of your choice and give a couples massage lesson then a massage. My fiance LOVED his massage with Yasko. Said it was the best one he's ever had. I've also had the opportunity to have a massage by Yasko at Burke Williams in MV and it was SUPERB. Soooo relaxing. I have never in the past fallen asleep during a massage, and i always wished I could, but I guess Ive never been relaxed enough. With Yasko, I fell asleep in the first 10 minutes. Now, I will book her every month when I go to BW. Would highly recommend!!!!! read more

My fiancee surprised me with a couple's massage class for my birthday. It was great! Yasuko came to our house for the class. She and my fiancee took turns massaging all of my sore muscles, and it was so relaxing that I almost fell asleep a few times. After a long, stressful day at work, it was a wonderful surprise. Yasuko also left a packet with pictures and instructions for all of the massage techniques she taught, so my fiancee and I can get even better at massaging each other. I highly recommend Yasuko for a massage class, and though I can't speak to the quality of her full massages, from what I've seen, those are most likely excellent as well. read more

I highly recommend massage with Yasko for individual work, as well as for couples wanting to create more connection and intimacy. I surprised my husband with a massage class/massage on Valentine's weekend. The massage class was awesome! We definitely enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to either learn massage techniques or get massaged. read more

Yasko's massage was relaxing, soothing and healing experience. I have chronic tenderness on my neck, shoulder and lower back. Plus, since I play soccer, my muscles (especially calf and hamstrings) are often sore. Having gone through Yasko's deep tissue treatment, all of the above had dissipated and I felt easiness sensation throughout my body. It seems that my tenderness and soreness is building up lately, so guess it's time to go back again sometime soon... read more

My husband bought a package for me with Yasko for Christmas. I am so happy that she was able to fit me in her schedule for the new year. After reading all the wonderful reviews I knew I would be in for a treat. I have been getting massages for over 10 years at other places and this was definitely THE BEST. I was not "just" another massage by a massage therapist. It felt really personalized and had a healing affect on my body. I feel absolutely re-energized! I will definitely see Yasko again and can't wait to learn about her couples massage class. I want my husband to feel as great as I do.
