wish I could give it negative stars but we'll have to go with 0. I charged my car overnight and unplugged it in the morning, and the price of the charge was $28. On top of the $28, they charged me $90 for leaving it in while it was fully charged! thats 8 times the price per hour to actually charge it. Customer service was a joke. Don't use. Basically a scam. Charged $147.00 for something that would normally be less than $20 anywhere else. Called customer support and was told it's not Blink's problem because property owners set pricing. There's no way to contact property owner so they just get to keep your money. read more

We were overcharged for the charge. The charger takes your CC information, but does not give a receipt or give you a summary of charges or any pricing information. Our car was connected for less than 30 minutes. Unlike other chargers that give you pricing as you go, Blink completely hides this information and just charges your card. I filed a complaint with Blink and also our CC. DO NOT USE BLINK CHARGERS!! read more

I host a station and caution anyone considering to use Blink to RUN the other way. Customer service is a joke; I asked them to help me approve a user after receiving an email that someone requested to join my private station. I couldn't find them on the portal so I emailed the support team. They didn't respond after 72 hours so I followed up. Only then did I get a response stating, "Hello, I don't see him either on your account not sure who is this." They proceeded to close the ticket and email me for feedback. Clearly I said they did a fantastic job -- not. I am now on hold with an incompetent customer service person, likely in another country. I've been on hold for about 15 minutes and counting. Blink -- you are lucky that I am so frustrated and impatient that I couldn't wait to leave this negative review, as I am sure the longer I deal with this customer service agent, the worse this review would get. Admittedly, most EV companies aren't great, (and I've dealt with a few as we have other companies on-site and I also drive a non-Tesla EV) but none that I've dealt with are as bad as Blink. read more

It took 45 minutes to get this thing to work. I eventually had to call them and they were asking for the serial # which is so small and in the corner. I gave my opinion to the hotel management about this product. Not worth it. Don't waste your time. read more

Put in a request for our chargers 40 days ago. Not one email with an update since 8/8. Tried to call their support line, was hung up on twice. Then when I finally got someone on the phone the representative says someone's been working on it and they might send a tech out. No idea when. No idea when I'll even get an ETA. I could only charge my car at 12A at a Blink hotel charger. Total energy was 26.7 kWh over a 10 hour period - 30% to 60%. The charge was $36 which is about $1.40 per kWh. Apparently they charge by time. The last Tesla supercharger I used charged $0.35 per kWh. I cannot even find a way to post a customer concern on the Blink website. I want to support EV charging but will avoid Blink at all costs. read more

The fee for charging 3 times was more than the capacity of my battery would require and locating the charges in the app was very difficult. it took 30 minutes to get the app to recognize where my charger was and begin charging. much frustration and borderline misrepresentation. I have used Chargpoint many times. information and hookup was transparent.and cost were fair. on the positive side, charger was fast once it started but no running total of charges I could see. It showed up way after I disconnected. Needs lots of improvement. read more

If I could give a zero star review , I would . It is the most confusing , unclear piece of equipment that I have ever used . It took us forever to even find the customer service number and we never found the serial number that we had to use for the app. Two of the three chargers in the parking lot weren't working. It took us a half hour of troubleshooting with the customer service agent to figure out which one worked . It was exhausting and time-consuming, and truly a horrible experience. read more

Very slow charging at the Blink (private) charging station at my office. Seems Blink throttles the speed since, I am charging for the first 3hrs at $0. I'm thankful for the three hours. The office I was at prior to this, had a Tesla charging station installed (not some super charging station) that charged faster than this Blink charger and was the same cost....I only needed a couple hours plugged into the Tesla charger. read more

Went to charge station at McGrath Ford in Hiawatha (Cedar Rapids area). 2 chargers, each having 2 cables. NO markings anywhere! Couldn't start charge until I found the correct one by trial and error. Plug in, and click on one to see if correct. App and connect time VERY slow! Tried to call customer service, found myself texting with a bot. Never got a person. Horrible. Would only use in emergency. Want my balance refunded! read more

I posted a terrible review due to the horrible experience I had with this company and their mostly broken charging stations. They responded and invited me to get in touch but the response was subsequently retracted. So no action even through they still have my $20. They must be part of the Pete Buttigieg $8B government giveaway where few real charging stations were brought online. read more

Pretty honest company. When you call them, they will tell you the rate of charging and let you know if it is a good deal or not. These are in my apartment complex and lady was nice enough to state they charging is a bit more than others, but the rate is set by our apartment complex. read more

Most of these bad reviews revolve around cost and chargers not working. All of these chargers are owned by 3rd party property owners and provided by them. The cost to charge is set by the property owner/station owner, not by Blink! Also, it is the station owner that has to get the unit repaired, but this is where they are so bad. As a station owner, I have a station in need of repair. I have to contact them to get a quote. Once I sign the quote, they send me a box and an electrical cap to return the unit for repair. They then repair the unit and send it back. Problem I've been waiting 2 months just to get the box to send the unit back! You have to communicate via email because they will never answer or call back. They also will not answer emails. I have resorted to calling the number to purchase a unit to get someone on the phone, but they give you the same IDK ill have to check and call/email you back. they never do. so here I am with chargers that don't work and a manufacturer that cant repair the unit. BTW the repair cost is almost the cost of the actual new unit. Im trying to give them money and they still cant come through. read more

We stopped to charge in Littleton nh on 11/17/24 and was shocked when we saw how much it was when done. there was no information on the charging station and we didn't have the app . We were traveling back to Maine from Canada so had no choice but to stop and charge at this stop. But 130.00 is ridiculous it was 0.69 kWh a 0.49 start fee and a 50.00 hour occupancy fee per hour so we paid to park to charge our truck very nice. We drove to Canada and around for 4 days with multiple chargers and didn't spend more than 100.00 . So blink we think you are ripping people off big time . read more

I just tried to cancel my account for the 3rd time after another unsuccessful charging attempt. The app said I couldn't cancel while I was in a charging session. Odd as I wasn't even at a charging station since I received 4 error messages and parked elsewhere. They must outsource customer service as it sounds like you are catching someone in their home- I had to hang up and call back 3 times as the audio quality on the first few was so poor. Finally I could hear the agent...and his kids in the background. So unprofessional. Have to do everything through the app even when the app isn't working. Truly a CF!!! read more

Have never been able to charge my EV using a Blink charger. They are either non-functional or there is an issue with getting the charger to work or accept payment. The business model is to give them $20 and keep a balance in their pocket while you search in vain for a working charger. Blink sucks and always has, in my experience! read more

Customer service is the worst. They will tell you something but don't believe anything they say because it won't happen. I was supposed to get a refund I was promised shortly I called back twice they assured me I would receive my refund the next day I would get an email when the money would be going back to my bank account. Only charger in the area is blink and suddenly went dead almost leaving me stranded. Signed up and had to enter credit card as a payment method and the next morning I received a text from my credit card company that someone tried to fraudulently use my card to make a purchase. Blink EV chargers are aptly named. If you blink they stop working. Tried 6 different terminals, none worked. Customer support is an app - good luck with that. Found phone number, tech likely offshore, hard to communicate. After 29 minutes admitted the charging locations is t working. Complete waste of time. read more

ZERO STARS!! I couldn't write a review for Hot Springs, AR, so I'm writing a review here! We are from SD, but we're on vacation. Used a Blink charger at a hotel and the charger stated we'd be notified when charging was done. NEVER received notification and in the morning, was shocked to see a $45 charge for standing fees ($5 x 9 hour) plus elec fees. Tried to dispute through Blink as well as my credit card company, and was unsuccessful with both because Blink supplied BS documentation to my CC company. DO NOT use their chargers!! AND Customer Servicer IS the WORST! Very rude!! First contact with them, they hung up on us, second contact told us they would take care of it, third contact was VERY RUDE and argumentative and said "too bad". read more

Had to sell my BMW i3 because BLINK failed me SO MANY, MANY times! In 3 + years of ownership I NEVER charged at a Blink station that did not require a call to Blink(virtually every attempt), moving car to a different charger (a few times), or complete failure after several attempts, several calls, re-logging in etc - SO AMAZINGLY FUSTRATING! The electric car makers should litigate BLINK out of existence or buy it and fire everyone who works there. I just bought a big Mercedes V8 - so happy to never have to deal with BLINK again!!! read more
