My daughter went from a scared little girl to a very confident flyer on a level 2 team. This is all thanks to the coaching staff at 360. I've read some of the negative reviews and they are laughable to me. Yes, a cheer gym is crowded. There are actual TEAMS amongst the classes for the little ones. This is the best gym in Southern California. And our family has seen several to compare. Talinda

My daughter does not take classes here, but we recently had her 6th birthday party here…read more After attending a couple of parties for our daughter's classmates about two months before her birthday, we concluded that this age group is still extremely energetic, and that any birthday party concept needed to be very active. The problem is that a winter birthday brings a chance of rain, so it's a real gamble to have the party outdoors at a park. The gym where she is taking gymnastics isn't offering parties at the moment, but we knew of this business, decided to check it out, and the price was right. We weren't sure entirely what we were getting ourselves into, so we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. And the best was what was delivered! We arrived a half an hour before the party as instructed, and the staff helped us set up. There was tons of space for the kids to run around, and that is exactly what they did as they started to arrive. One little girl ran down the tumble track and did a front flip off the end! Eventually the coaches led the kids in some games that involved plenty of running around, as well as a super-fun obstacle course. Parents and non-participating siblings had plenty of space to spread out, chat with one another, watch the antics, and take photos. The staff members put on gloves to help serve pizza to the kids, and then the cupcakes. Finally, the kids went back out to enjoy the obstacle course, tumble track, etc... The kids had so much fun, it was tough to get them to leave! And since it turned out to be a VERY rainy day, the parents could not have been happier that their kids got to use up some of that boundless energy! Although we didn't ask... I think that all the kids slept well that night. If you are considering having your kid's birthday party here, I'd encourage you to go for it! Our experience couldn't have been better!

My daughter had begged me to do cheer and I knew someone whose daughter went through SBD and had a positive experience. While there are many things I wasn't happy with, the worst part is how negative and verbally abusive the coaches are to the kids. One mom signed her daughter up to work on her self esteem and her coach told her she was being moved to the back because she wasn't good. Another time, my daughter's coach told them that they did a bad job and everyone in the audience will throw tomatoes at them. My daughter was 5 and didn't want to perform because she thought we were going to throw tomatoes at her. She would cry before every practice. I thought the coaches were just tough and it was hard so I encouraged her to keep going, but eventually through a lot of tears she told me all the mean things her coach would say and that is when we didn't continue. We did do a competition and while the girls had been going for 6 months, they didn't learn their routine until 2 weeks before the competition. It was hard to watch and very irritating. Here we were, coming twice a week totally committed while the coach for their team changed 3 different times and nobody seemed to give our team much time or respect. The coaches for the younger teams are kids themselves. They just don't have all the tools to be able to guide and mold 5-7 year olds and I wouldn't expect them to. Management has it set up this way and never watch a practice or monitor what is happening. They say that they're around and trust these girls, but it's a cop out. I never saw a seasoned older coach just stand a one watch a practice. I did complain about all this and more and was given a very kind and genuine response from one of the head coaches. The issue is that while this coach was nice, the culture of SBD is toxic and broken. After we left, I learned that 3 other families left for the same reason. It's sad because these girls really wanted to do cheer and now want nothing to do with it. Please save yourself the headache and pass on this incredibly unprofessional organization. I sincerely hope they're able to look at themselves and make some major changes.

I'm a stand-up Comedian and I've been here for the past two Open Mic Nights as a performer and had a very positive experience. 1. There is no 2 item minimum. You only pay $5 either as a performer or audience member. That is a bargain! 2. There are no more than 12 comedians performing in total. Each comedian has a 5 minute set. You'll be home in time to shower, go to sleep early, and wake up sober for work the next day! 3. Friendly and encouraging audience. No one will boo you or throw a bottle at you! If you are interested in taking classes in Improv/Comedy or would just like to be a supportive audience member, this is the place to be!

I just thought it would be fun, and it turned out to be so much more. Yes, it is fun! It is a beautiful escape from life's difficulties and filled with laughter, learning, and grace. Darren, Neil and the rest of the instructors and cast have created something very special here. Imagine a group of strangers from all walks of life coming together to create something magical. It is scary at first but the growth is quick and you are supported and encouraged so much more than you could imagine, not only by the instructors but that group of strangers who you bond with. Some of my biggest takeaways are to listen, (really listen), choose words wisely, and not to rush. This is not only true on the Held2gether stage but has carried over in my life. Give it a try, you won't regret it and you just may get hooked too. All are welcome and encouraged.

My younger grew up in the recreational program, we did everything from mommy and me and she went through the classes as she got older, joined the JO Team this past June. I personally didn't think she had what it took, but trusted the gym's judgment...and she's been thriving. Her coaches overall were great, and we even still have moments where rec coaches who work seasonally will come back and be amazed at how much she grew! My oldest has always been on team and we have had injuries, but she had a great season last year. I appreciate how much all her team coaches (Carmen, Toya, Mike, Jim, Kevin, Savannah, Sophie, Jazz), Courtney and the front desk team support her. Having so many coaches for the team is wonderful as they all offer something different in terms of coaching style and personality fit. No place is perfect, but what I do appreciate is that you can have a transparent conversation about how your child is doing / how together we can partner to help our kids progress in a safe way. These conversations may not be easy but the intent is shared that the gym also wants what's best for your child. My oldest has a mental block from breaking her arm twice and the fact that she's at the gym and love gymnastics still is a testament to how much the coaches and the gym cares. I've had conversations with the coaches and Courtney about how it's more than just gymnastics, but how their time at the gym shapes their identity and who they grow into so I appreciate the macro view this gym has vs it's about level / skills / medals. The Xcel coaching team is also excellent - we trained with Curtis on the pre-team prior to JO and we loved him. Kelsey also worked with our girls and is so supportive. It's clear how much the coaches here care about the kids. The gym itself is so well kept in terms of equipment and safety so it's nice to see the pit is cleaned and everything looks clean vs at some gyms there's a lot of dust, fraying, and wear. Lastly, we are not in cheer (sadly), but love Neda and Sammy's energy, and can't think of better coaches to lead this team.
