We have had the pleasure of employing Blinds Brothers for all our window treatment requirements since 2010. They have installed blinds in our home and in four of our rental properties over a period of six years.. They have consistently made excellent recommendations with respect to products which suited the needs and budget of each venue. The owner, Rick and his staff, have been very professional in their communication with us with respect to installation timelines. During installation, the staff have been well organized, efficient and personable. The site is always thoroughly cleaned. Whenever, we have had issues with the blinds due to tenant misuse, the BB have come in and repaired them and often at no cost. When we recently needed to replace costly existing Silhouette blinds, a product which BB does not carry, BB researched the product and found replacements for us from another company. They also found the Silhouette blinds at a lower cost for us than what we would have had to pay retail. Even then, Rick in his humility, apologized and was embarrassed by the cost. We have been so pleased with BB that we have consistently recommended this company to family members and friends who have also used them and have been very pleased with BB's quality product and service. Blinds Brothers is one of those companies from office staff to technical staff who make you feel like a valued customer, big or small, and will endeavour to make every effort to provide professional and personal service. One of my friends recommended this company, so I emailed them asking for a quote. Got one reply (confirming details) and they said they would get back to me. It's been 6 weeks and no response. I guess they're not hungry for new business. read more

They installed my blinds a few years ago. They gave good follow up service even a few years after. Able to squeeze me in on day of to fix one of the blinds. Thanks for making the experience better. read more

I was able to get a quote from this company but when I tried to book an in-home consultation, I was originally told appointments available Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm which is exactly the hours I work. No response given to my last e-mail inquiry (which was 3 weeks ago) so looks like they don't need to my business. Ended up going with a different blind company that gave better customer service. read more

I contacted Blind Brothers via e-mail and submitted my measurements for an online quote. The pre-sales support was very slow & I had to keep following up, it was close to Christmas so perhaps they were swamped. Once it was all quoted & scheduled it went pretty smoothly. The blinds are great quality though I don't have anything else to compare it with. BUT after-sales support leaves a lot to be desired : they didn't clean up, we had metal shavings everywhere. They nicked the paint & wall in one spot and said it wasn't them... There is a drill hole in the floor eerily close to where they installed the blind guards they still claim It wasn't them. We had just moved in so it took a few days to see the hole. So basically if you want good quality blinds use them, if you want good customer service , keep looking .... After spending thousands of dollars we expected more.... but perhaps they aren't insured.... read more

Very happy with the service and product provided by Blinds Brothers. I had large floor-to-ceiling roller shades installed (88" x 104"). Good communication through email prior to the first visit. The free on-site estimate and consultation was very helpful; all done by the owner (Rick) whom I found to be very friendly, patient and informative. Had lots of samples and great suggestions.. Prices are fair compared to other estimates I received.. The installation was quick and painless. Got exactly what I had hoped for.. Thank you.. Ae read more

I called and left a message during the week to have a quote over the phone approximate on behalf of a property manager I am helping with and they didn't return the call. I tried calling again and no on picked up. I guess they're too busy with work to even get work which is fine. However, there's no one to even pick up a call during business hours a few times? No receptionist? read more

I contacted BB about blackout roller shades for my bedroom. They were slow to respond. When Rick came to measure my windows, he was nice and friendly. He estimated 2-3 weeks max. Having received no updates on the status of my order, at the one month mark I emailed in the morning. I did not get a response until late the next day, after I'd sent another email wanting to cancel my order. In his response, Rick was very understanding and apologetic and scheduled the installation within the next week. So from order to installation, it took five weeks. The installation was fast, so no complaints there. However, the whole purpose of the shades was to prevent light from coming into the bedroom. While they let in light at the sides as expected (we planned to cover the edges with a curtain), we were not expecting so much light to get in at the top or bottom. The shades do not go all the way down to the window sill. Just a little more material and they would have been okay! Also, the valance lets a lot more light in at the top than they made it sound like it would. Once again, if the valance were just a little taller, there wouldn't be a problem. The valance wasn't worth the extra money, as we weren't getting it for looks. So all in all, we actually still need blackout curtains to go all the way across our window, rather than just at the sides. Basically, our money would have been better spent on blackout curtains. I wanted to give them a chance before writing this review. My bf politely emailed them to ask them if there was anything we could do about the light at the top or the bottom. They didn't even reply. I guess once the transaction is done, that's it! read more

I searched for "Vancouver Blinds" and found Blinds Brothers. I read the reviews in Google and when I gave them a call I was not disapointed. They were professional, patient(I'm fussy), cleaned up after themselves and most importantly my windows look great and I can keep the sun out when need be. I've told my friends about Blinds Brothers and suggest you give them a call first if you want it done right. read more

Honesty should have read the reviews before even considering them. They service is very bad, a s they don't pick up phone calls or return calls and says they will call back with information on orders and never do, until you call again and again. Honesty should have gone with any other company that does better work. Their measurements were off too so I ended up with lopsided blinds and folds and creased in my blinds a few weeks after installation. Very unhappy with the black out blinds as they have so much gap on the sides that it lets in too much light, but they swear it is very little over the phone until they already installed and charged you. They also will charge your card ahead of time and when asked they don't even refund until someone picks up the phone, which is never and they don't even get on top of things when you bring it up. To save time and money and hassle just go with another company. read more

"Blind Brothers" did all blinds for my son's place and everything was very professional and on time. I do not see any possible reason why people posted negative comments about them. It's company you can trust to, they have best blind's prices in the city. Very professional, friendly and great service. I would recommend them to everyone. read more

We had a great in home consult by the owner of Blinds Brothers (Rick). A few months later we had the roller shades installed. The person who did the install was not the owner, he left a mess and was not the most professional. That can all be overlooked though bc we got a great price on the roller shades. What can not be over looked was when I called their office the next day to ask for valences for the living room windows, the receptionist (who told me she was the only person who answered phones) was extremely rude from the get go telling me I should have the measurements for the valences, when I told her idid not have the measurements she got even more upset asking if "everything is ok" in a snarky tone, when I said "excuse me?" she said "listen do you want me to help you or not?" which at that point I chose no lol Bottom line, price is good, customer service not so good. I would NOT recommend Blinds Brothers to anyone bc of the poor customer service. read more

I have used these guys twice now to provide blinds for rental properties I own in Vancouver and could not recommend them enough. Initially it was a toss up between using them and another company but these guys came in cheaper so I decided to go with them. I am glad I did as they were prompt, reliable and courteous. Would def use them again. read more

Great service, reasonable prices, love our roller blinds. When one of them fell off four years later I called and they came and fixed it in two days. Would recommend! read more

Blinds Brothers Ltd. could not have been better. The price we paid was exactly as quoted. It took just 8 business days from the time we ordered until installation. Rick was very useful with advice and information and was quick to respond to phone calls and emails. He did everything he could to give us the best possible price. 14 black out blinds were installed neatly and professionally in 2 hours and they cleaned up and took away our old blinds. They were able to use the existing metal coverings (fascia) whereas 3 other companies that gave me quotes said they could not. This was a large, significant savings to us. I have no complaints whatsoever and have recommended them to several other people in our building who wish to have old deteriorating vinyl blinds replaced. read more
