With the renovation of the Baker Hotel, downtown Mineral Wells is starting its comeback. Opened in February, right next to the Welcome sign, this place is CUTE. I love the exposed brick and stone and garage door. It is fashionable yet comfortable. The service was awesome and I got to chat with some locals while enjoying a flight. All the beers are thought up by the owner and I see him in there behind the bar or working everytime I go in! He is so friendly and clearly loves his business, which I love. Overall, the ambiance is historic with memorabilia scattered around. There's lots of natural light and pretty historic street views. There's space for small and large parties too! Love this place.

The two of us shared the "combo" fajita plate with shrimp and steak and we had plenty of leftovers--cannot believe that it's intended for one person. This is America!
