I was in a temporary from Sept. to Dec. because they had staffing issues and couldn't get me in for my permanent.I was in so much pain. Dr. Panvelker said it was infected. I got a second opinion and Dr. Criser said there was no present infection and that my temporary was not shaved correctly causing my actual tooth to show. I got the gap filled by prestwood and I eventually got my permanent on which made it better but it was still sensitive. Time passed and it ended up becoming painful. They kept wanting to refer me to get a root canal. I went and got a second opinion, found out my whole tooth is split in half. The tooth has to be completely removed. A root canal is not possible. Previously when I would come in due to pain, Dr. Panvelker kept saying "I told you it had the possibility of failing." With her being the professional, I don't know why she would allow the crown to be put on if it was more than likely going to fail. $800+ down the drain not even a year later.

She refused to prescribe me antibiotics and told me to go to urgent care. With that, I should have found another dentist. Maybe one who actually cares about her patients, but I didn't. When I was financially able to start the denture process I called for an updated quote and made an appointment. I went to the appointment and was told they had no record of that and Dr. Poaps was on maternity leave. The attitude was , oh well. In a medical or dental practice I would think someone who is expecting a child would arrange to have backup. Nothing was done to help me. You want good care, find another dental practice. If you get it here you are lucky.

I was referred to this practice by my primary dentist for a root canal. As you can imagine, I was…read moreterrified because I'd never had one before and you always hear horror stories about root canals! I had two visits (1) initial consultation and (2) the procedure appointment. Both times I was in and out very quickly. I had Dr. William Yeung and he was exceptional! He did not rush the first appointment and made a point to explain everything very well. He asked several times if there were any questions along the way. The procedure was painless! After he was in the tooth, he realized it was not quite as bad as they thought it may be and, thankfully, did less work than we originally thought. A dishonest provider may have taken advantage of that situation and done more to the tooth to increase cost. As a result, it was less expensive than I planned and the recovery was easy. My primary dentist said it was some of the best work he'd ever seen! I hope I don't have to come back, but if I do, I will ask for Dr. Yeung!
