I'm disappointed to have to leave this review. My initial interactions with Greene's Cleaning…read moreService were great. I requested a quote for a deep move-out clean, which was extremely reasonable. I paid the deposit right away. Although they typically do vacation rental cleanings, they seemed willing to do a one-time move-out deep clean for me. I wasn't concerned about the lack of reviews here (my first mistake!) because of how accommodating and friendly the owner seemed to be. We scheduled a date. Before the date they requested the full remaining payment, which I again remitted right away, and they set off to work. They sent photos of some of the especially deep cleaning work they did behind my appliances which I specifically requested. In the initial quote the owner mentioned deep cleans take 2-3 days. So you can imagine my surprise when the update messages I got from him indicated being done in a few hours. He did mention he had brought other workers with him to make the job go faster so I figured hey, they must be really efficient! However when I returned home two days later the rest house was.... not clean. It wasn't dirty, although I did find several mystery pieces of trash around the house, which the owner claims to be mine, but don't correspond to any items I have in the house so not sure how that's possible. But it didn't look like anything had been cleaned, aside from behind the appliances. Certainly nothing resembling a deep clean. There were stains on the kitchen floor (presumably from getting the gunk out from behind the appliances, but then not tidied up), stains on the stovetop, stains leftover in the microwave, countertops only passingly wiped down. The refrigerator, which I requested to be cleaned internally, still had a massive stain it. And these are just some of the issues. I sent some photos of some of these issues to the owner, with a note of surprise about the quality of the work. All of the photos he attempted to explain away-- stain in the fridge "wouldn't come off", even though I showed him a photo of what it looked like after taking a magic eraser to it for 30 seconds with substantial improvement. Spots on the bathroom floor I pointed out also "wouldn't come off", even though for me they lifted with a few wipes. He frequently insisted that he and his team "worked hard" on the project, and I'm sure that's true! But hard work does not always equal quality work. I requested a partial refund in light of what I found to be a sub-par job. He mentioned that it is in the company's terms of service not to provide refunds and offered to send that document to me--after the fact! Would have been great to get those terms before hand. He (repeatedly) accused me of trying to get a cleaning "for free". Frankly, the time I've spent arguing with him is costing me more than what I already paid for the disappointing cleaning services, and now I'll have to hire someone new or do it myself with no recoup of the cost. According to him, people try to lodge fake complaints to scam free cleanings all the time-- but I found that odd since he also claimed he has never received any complaints before. So where are all the complaining scammers coming from if you never receive complaints? He then offered to send another cleaner out to retouch some areas, but mentioned that the cleaner would not go over anything they had done before. While I appreciated this offer, I didn't see the point in this as all the places they had gone before were not sufficiently cleaned, so what would another cleaner even have done if not revisit the tasks that weren't done well? He is now claiming that the place was "trashed" when they came, with the microwave toaster "disgusting. They looked like they where [sic] never cleaned". He claimed also that "there was dirty dishes sitting everywhere in the counters, food all over the place, floors where [sic] quite dirty as well". He claims he has before pictures of the place and I would love to see those! I did fail to take before photos which is on me. But I do have witnesses who were in the house days before who can attest to the state it was left in. It also seems like he's now blocked me on the Yelp messaging app because none of my responses are going through-- and listen, I'm exhausted with this back and forth too, but refusing to continue to engage with a client who is expressing genuine disappointment in your services is what seems like a scam to me. If you're one of Greene's current clients and are happy with them, that's great-- they genuinely seem like nice people. But my experience has been so awful that I want others to know about it. I'll also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

In that time she has been very reliable, the only time she was not able to do a clean for me was when her father was sick, and she needed to go out of town to be with him. That was only one time and I not only supported that decision, but encouraged her to go. I have 87, 5 star reviews, and many of them mention how clean the house was. I see how hard she works and if it is not a turnover, will sometimes work to get my house clean. I cannot even imagine how difficult her job is. I know I would not want to have to clean two or three houses in one day and in the short time you often have between tenants. I'm not sure what happened with the other reviewer, but it is extremely hard to imagine she would be that different of a person from what my experience has been with her. I would be more than happy to talk with anyone who had any questions.

I am filing this complaint against Dolbier Disaster Restoration (DDR ) for reasons that are listed…read morebelow. These events occurred while they were repairing our roof. A large tree limb fell onto our roof. It created holes in the shingles, sheeting and decking. The damages were covered by our home owner's insurance policy. The insurance adjuster allowed for replacing the shingles and sheeting on the entire roof and to repair the damaged decking. DDR was selected to do the repairs, they were provided with the adjusters' scope of damages--replace the entire roof and repair decking. I used the following terms to identify my view of the structure of a roof. Shingles are on top of the roof, sheeting goes between the shingles and the decking, we had two layers of sheeting, felt and titanium, decking are 4x8 sheets of wood that are attached to the rafters. The roof that was struck by the limb and authorized for repairs was one entire side of a gable roof. I happened to climb on to the roof and observed the roofers as they were working. This is what I observed-- 1. Approximately 1/3rd of the roof had been removed. The roofers were in the process of replacing this part of the roof. The balance of the roof was untouched. DDR was authorized by the insurance adjuster and myself to replace the entire roof. They arbitrarily opted to only do 1/3rd of the roof. Why would DDR replace 1/3rd when they were requested and authorized to replace the entire roof ? 2. I observed that the roofers were in the process of laying down felt paper. They were rolling the felt over a large hole. The hole was very noticeable- it was about six inches wide. A visual inspection showed the hole was also in the decking. The titanium was not present. It was very clear that the workers were going to cover the hole and not repair the decking. There were other holes in the roof. They had already covered these holes with the felt paper. There was no material on the roof to repair holes. It seems reasonable to assume that the other holes were not repaired-they were covered with felt. Later I found on the ground the piece of titanium paper that cover the hole, apparently the roofer cut it off and threw it over the side. It has a large tear where that the limb made I have this piece of titanium. I contacted DDR and advised them of this situation. A few days later a different crew arrived. They properly replaced and repaired the entire roof. A frightening thought --Without proper roof repairs, rain would continue to entered our home year after year. We all can envision the consequence of the damages this would have cause to our home. Thank goodness my 78-year-old body gave me the strength to climb onto the roof. I do wonder if this happened to a person unable to climb onto the roof, or assumes the repairing company would do what the insurance company felt necessary to properly repair their roof. Can you imagine what their life would be like when these defects was discovered ??? FYI, I've been in the property casualty and risk management insurance for over 40 years. My first job was a claims adjuster. I've worked with very honorable professionals. It is very difficult for me to imagine that companies can provide this type of service and walk away leaving the homeowner in a pickle while there were fully compensated. Thanks for taking time to review this matter. Regards, Tim Cummings, CPCU

We've had them clean our home twice now, and have been quite pleased with them. We find them honest, hard-working (!), intelligent, and friendly. They have surprised us with their initiative--taking on extra cleaning tasks we did not expect them to do from our previous experience with house cleaners. For instance, today they thoroughly cleaned our kitchen oven on their own initiative, without us asking for that (my previous house cleaners never did that). When we bought our house less than a year ago, the induction range had some burned-on residue we couldn't manage to remove ourselves. This business also removed virtually all of that without us asking them to do it. The owner is a professional in the commercial cleaning industry, with skills and certification to do many kinds of cleaning and disinfecting. The owner still works for a larger national cleaning company, but is building out a local business of his own in this region. We can recommend them highly. They deserve more clients here in Boone.

Second time was "meh" and I kept having to ask him to do things like take out the trash and he forgot an entire bathroom even though I reminded him. Then we were out of town and then had a terrible stomach bug run through everyone and I had to cancel a few times, but I communicated with him the whole time and the owner, Brandon, was always friendly, helpful, and prompt in replying. When we were finally all better, I went to schedule a cleaning through the app and I couldn't. I tried messaging him to let him know, but heard nothing... then called a few days later. Over a week I tried every way I could to get ahold of someone-2 different phone numbers, email, messenger, the scheduling app... nada. Now nothing for 2 weeks. So, this company has charged me $800 the last 2 months and only cleaned twice. And now won't respond. I kept waiting thinking maybe something bad happened or they had an emergency or something. Who knows. They have my credit card running on a monthly charge and I can't cancel it without getting ahold of someone. It is the most frustrating thing. I tried purchasing a "test" on the app for $2 not sure what that was, but thinking it would let me schedule. I scheduled a cleaning that way, but no one showed up. I'm at a loss
