We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Bleu Lavande recently. We have eaten at chef Bernard Leclerc's table off and on for many years dating back to La Poele d'Or in Cannes and this was without doubt the finest meal we have ever received from them. It was a true delight. As we were a party of 4, we had a chance to try all 3 of the entrées and all 3 of the plats available on the Menu "inspiration du moment" offered that evening at 44 euro. Every dish was creative and well executed. We had called well in advance to arrange a birthday cake, so we did not get to sample the choices available on the desert menu. Chef Leclerc prepared a delicious vanilla cream cake with fresh strawberries embedded that was both beautiful to look at and delicious in the eating. He is not just resting on his laurels, and we can whole-heartedly recommend Bleu Lavande to anyone wanting a special meal without the pretension of "white glove" service.
