This is a bright, clean, tastefully decorated space. It's conveniently located right on Washington Road, making it easy to get to from anywhere. Leslie is a gracious, chatty person who puts you immediately at ease. No small feat when the subject is ripping your hair out by the roots. She is careful and keeps me talking, laughing and sufficiently distracted so our time together goes quickly and smoothly. The hairdressers at the salon do a brisk business, but I've not had the opportunity to patronize them. It is hypnotic watching them at their craft though. It's easy to recommend Leslie's salon, but I encourage you to go see for yourself the next time you need some 'maintenance' done.

I braced for shock at the thought ripping hairs, but it wasn't that painful at all. I was pleasantly surprised! We conversed about our kids the entire time and then it was over. It went pretty fast. Upon return to Augusta I decide to search online and tried two different persons. One was working out of a nail salon and was nice but the lashes she used felt like plastic. The second person was working out of her home and the lashes started to immediately fall out including losing my own after day 1 :( In my experience with lash extensions I have always thought water was the enemy. I purposely avoided getting water on my lashes. Anyhow I gave up my search and let my lashes be for a while but I sure did miss the look it gave me. One day I was on fb and I saw Sarah's ad and inquired. She responded and was very friendly and professional. I ended up going in to see her the following week. She has a dedicated room and is very knowledgeable about all things makeup and most importantly lashes. She had the room set at a certain humidity level. Now I've seen professional lash installers talk about this but have never worked with someone who actually enforces it. Upon completion I was amazed at her talent and how she opened up my eyes verses looking like I came out of a drag show lol I know that's the look some go for but not me. The lashes she uses are soft and felt like my own! She then handed me a cleaning kit! A cleaning kit??? She wanted me to wash my lashes DAILY! I told her no way - they are going to fall out and she said they wouldn't. I was still hesitant and waited 48 hours to use the cleaning solution she provided. I used it and wow she was right - they didn't fall out. I ended up traveling shortly after and my lashes went in with me into pools, beaches, saunas, gyms and they remained intact! I was amazed and became a loyal customer! I get a lot of compliments on my lashes and I barely wear any makeup. I'm so happy I found someone I that is knowledgeable and stands behind their product!
