The staff at the San Leandro facility have been amazing every step of the way. Yulin and Tyler have been phenomenal about finding isolating exercises to help pin point the areas I'm feeling pain. Every session provided me with new movements that would move my recovery forward. I made sure to do my exercises at home to facilitate my success. I cannot thank the whole team enough for giving me the tools I needed to regain mobility after surgery and prevent another surgery all together. After being in a car accident recently that was eerily similar to one I had experienced years ago…read morethat took 3 years to recover from; I was facing a similar predicament of migraines, being unable to sleep fully throughout the night and overall a very painful and strained neck. I made a few calls to PT offices where no one picked up or they informed me the next appointment would be over a month from now. I needed a visit as soon as I could. I called Ascend PT and Gina immediately picked up, listened to my situation and quickly booked me in to be seen within a few days. Gina is very professional and personable. She made me feel very comfortable right away and gave top quality care. I felt immediate relief after she worked on my neck and gave me exercises to work on. At this point, I have seen so many physical therapists throughout my life and Gina is quite competent. Substantial progress was made each visit and I would leave visits feeling refreshed and pain free. Meanwhile, at other places, I would be in pain for several months before seeing any progress. After seeing Gina for a month and a half, I was 90% recovered and after three months, I feel so refreshed and able to do all my regular exercise routines and activities. I truly wish I had found Gina much earlier and will solely be seeking her guidance when I have future injuries~

I was lucky I could see a doctor on the day I stopped in (I was told that they don't accept appointments, you have to walk in), because I did overhear several patients who were told to return the next day. So much for urgent care. If your schedule is flexible, bring something with you to pass the time, like a book to read. I ended up spending hours here. 11:30am: Walked in and gave my info. They also gave me a face mask because I couldn't stop coughing. I'm glad they had a spare to give to me. 1:30pm: Took about 2 hours before a nurse finally ran a flu and covid test on me. 3:00pm: FINALLY saw a doctor. She was very nice, and gave me prescriptions to pick up at my pharmacy later. 3:19pm: Dismissed and good to go, and given a doctor's note to excuse me from work. It's located close to the Kaiser Hospital near Marina Blvd. For clarity, this urgent center is not a Kaiser center, in case if there's confusion.

I have been going to 6am weekly Pilates for 14 years. Yes, showing up at 6 am is a difficult. Sometimes I would show up with clothes inside out and half asleep. Little did I know that getting a strong core would help me later. 2 years ago I had bilateral hip replacement surgery. During this difficult time, Ada was most supportive and helpful in giving me modified exercises to help with pre surgery, recovery and getting my hips back to normal. The state of the art air purifiers, wiping down of equipment and UV disinfection of the equipment makes me feel comfortable coming here.
