At the time, Jason assured me this vehicle had a brand new engine, and that a considerable amount of other parts and components where recently replaced, as Jason had owned this vehicle prior. At the time, this truck had just over 240000 miles and Jason assured me that if I brought the truck to him he would honor a "warranty" that would cover parts... No labor. At the time, i was being pressured from my organization to purchase a vehicle, so I had little choice but to agree. Furthermore, I made the mistake of not paying attention to the quality of tire and what kind of rims/tires the truck needed... 22s as it were are difficult because no one has them on hand... The truck ran fine for a couple of months until those tires had to be replaced... Only 3000 miles after I bought the truck. Increasingly, more and more, issues began to arise with this vehicle... Coolant lines needing to be replaced, oil pressure senders and sensors going bad... My dashboard backlight going out (they are not individual lamps, but a whole piece that needs to be replaced) and to top it off- the knock sensor in the "brand new" engine Jason claimed all began showing signs of wear and needed changing... Fast forward to today- 255,000 miles on the frame - I've sunk close to $2500 already, owing $2800 still and still needing close to 1k work... Igo to ask Jason to to honor his promise for a warranty on the knock sensor and the dash light as I feel they pertain to the year warranty... What do I get as a response? Defensive rhetoric and accusations of not taking care of the vehicle... This guy will go back on his word and professional promises to his customers. I wish I could continue but at this point I will not be doing any further business with this establishment.

Just bring it over this morning and we will have it done by 5:00. Sounds like a small locally owned shop that you want to support and do business with right? Quick service and good price! Well, when I dropped the car off at 10:30 she confirmed 5:00 today. At 4:30 I called to see if it was done and she said it's going to take a little longer than I thought but it will be done today. At 5:30 I stopped by and they still hadn't gotten the old one out yet. She said its more complex than I thought but we will get it done before we go home. The car was finally ready at 9:30 pm so I guess give them credit for staying late (ie 2 stars and not 1). On the way home I stopped to get the alternator checked at autozone and they pointed out that the wire to the alternator wasn't even hooked up so it wasn't working properly. So I came home and had to finish the job myself. If it sounds too good to be true. It probably is. So do yourself a favor. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else!!! PS. No written quote, they don't take CC.

I wanted a 2nd opinion and after he already changed one side advises me that he thought there was nothing wrong with them in the first place. I paid $500 to replace wheel hubs and bearings that he thought nothing was wrong. I provided the parts they were Lexus genuine parts but someone they failed with in 4 mths. I took to another shop which specializes in Japanese and foreign vehicles and they advised me they were badly installed and one bearing looked as is it was never changed. I brought my concerns to the shop and of course he wasn't happy with someone question is integrity and work but when it comes to safety of my family and integrity that's what is as consumers trust in the mechanic for. I'm out of $650 for parts and labor at Ables and then paid $812 at another place but at least I'm warrantied for a year on parts and labor. I wasn't offered anything. I'm just glad I was able to get it fixed correctly before something really bad happen to me or my family.

He quickly responded to my request and said 20 minutes and we will let you know. Before he took charge of my car gave me all the information about the process and price. I felt it ws clean wnd clear instruction and that's why I felt comfortable going ahead taking their service. Miles, the owner, told that as courtesy they will give me discount on my oil change next time and mentioned what oil they use which i felt was part of good service communication. I will definitely visit them again if I have any auto work to check and may update the experience.

Tommy…read morewas very difficult to understand and all we wanted done was an oil change and a cold start valve replaced. Picked up the car and was handed a bill for $4190.38. We were floored and wanted to know what in the world they did to the car. In very broken engrish, Tommy told my wife and I the timing chain needed to be replaced and told us he could not get a hold of my wife so he preformed the service anyway. Problem is, our car is three years old has 27900 miles on it and is covered by the manufactures warranty. This guy is a crook and a con. Two days after we got the car back, it acted the same way as when we brought it in so we had it towed back to BMW and was told the cold start valve needed to be replaced and so did the water pump. It was now leaking. As it turns out, the timing belt was NOT replaced or even looked at, it would appear they instead replaced the serpentine belt and tried to charge us for the timing belt. Dallas BMW warrantied the repair, replaced the water pump and cold start valve as we asked and the car runs great. We cancelled our AMX charge with Tommy Techs and called and asked for the parts they claimed to have replaced only to now have Tommy claim he could not understand what we were asking for and hung up on us! Crooks from the word GO!
