Within the first few puffs the smoke began burning my throat so I called asking for an exchange or refund. I was told that I smoked it too early and the juice needed to settle. The sales clerk explained that the box stated waiting 10 minutes after adding juice or you burn the cotton. I was offered the option of purchasing another pen, but that their hands were tied when it came to a refund or exchange. I re-read the products box/instructions and the label actually says to discard the pen after 5-8x use because the device will eventually lose its flavor potency, not the clerks original explanation of "it says wait 5-10 minutes. Lots of vape shops offer refunds and exchanges on defective devices, this one does not. And yes, I always keep it polite.

Inside it was spacious and the staff was friendly (and have been every time since :) ). They were helpful with questions about products I was used to that they had at the time (apparently it's now affected by a ban bc of the smiley face on its label, lol), and then which could help when they didn't have them. Believe it or not, it's not always as simple as a one-size-fits-all product, so it helps when the staff is actually informed. I will be a repeat customer.
