I was in the Ormond Beach store, wanted to purchase a nectar pen. The associates convinced me to…read morepurchase an electric one. And up sold me to the more expensive $80 one. Upon taking it home, it would go through all of the electronic functions, but would lose heat and would not burn. I had several other people try with the same result. When I purchased the unit, it was the last one they had and was a display unit. I brought it back the next morning for a replacement or a refund and they said they don't do that. They would have someone look at it and get back with me. Later that day, the sales associate got a hold of me and told me that the unit was working perfectly. I went back and picked up the unit, took it back to the house and tried it again with the same result it would go through all of the lighting, but would not burn the distillate. I brought the unit back again with a video displaying that the unit would not stay hot when touching the oil. Ultimately, the sales associate told me every sale is final and they do not back their product. Even though this was a display unit, the sales associate made me feel as though I was either lying or ignorant. I would not recommend this shop because they do not back their product. You would think that selling me a display unit that was defective would be an obvious refund or replace replacement. The associate was irritated and short with me informing me that there is nothing that they can do. I was hoping that the owner would get a hold of me directly to address the situation. I can not use it at all! That was a display unit, was defective from purchase, and I was demeaned and rejected with prejudice. I have been going to the store for years, but that type of treatment and lack of Support will keep me from going back. I would love to speak to the owner about how I was treated and what suggestion he has for the defective display unit that I have .

Fines (in the range of tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars) & even imprisonment face owners of such establishments if they don't precisely follow the dictums of the FDA (which fines & prison face *every* business owner or industrial concern in the U.S. not obedient to the bureaucrat's commands). Meanwhile, back to my review: *Don*, the owner, is cordial, professional & accomodating. He will go the extra mile to see you're satisfied. The inventory is top-of-the-line, reasonably priced. You may see it online for less, but at KD, you can examine the item, ask a human being about it, change your mind & you'll still get whatever it is you want that instant, instead of waiting for the item to be shipped to you--and paying for that shpg. If afterward the item isn't exactly what you want, you can in most cases (except items that go in your mouth) return it--with receipt--for an exchange. Without having to pack it up & ship it back to that online ghost store. His assistants replicate Ron's courtesy, attention to detail & professionalism. I've shopped up & down east Volusia (since 2014), from NSB to PC, & no store gives you the quality, beats the price or equals the professionalism that you'll find at KD Vapes. Finally, the answer is "No," I've no financial interest in the business; I'm not a neighbor of or even friends with Ron; & I wasn't paid or even asked to write this review.
